Customers say

Customers like the comfort, elasticity, and toe space of the shoes. For example, they mention it’s much more comfortable, has a great feel, and allows them to move and flex their foot. Some are also satisfied with color, and versatility. That said, opinions are mixed on value, fit, and durability.

    Flexi and reflecty
The fit is excellent. 7.5 was true to size for me. I wore them at least 3 days while at a conference and I walked miles exploring the area. No pain in my feet. I like the reflective strap design. I would suggest wearing a sock that comes up higher than the shoe at the back of the ankle as it did rub bare skin and I could see that a blister could form in that spot. Even though the laces are kinda round, they stayed in my dbl knot and didn’t come undone while walking. Hope these last awhile as I’m pretty hard on my shoes.

    Love them!
I was looking for a flat shoe to use for weight training. I have wide feet and I was happy to see they had a wide option. These have a flexible sole and I love that the sides cinch tighter as they are intertwined with the laces to provide better support. I was using running shoes for my weight training sessions and my regulat running shoes were just unstable. These fit snugly once tightened around the ankle and they do not compress my toes. I feel very stable in these shoes. I know I will have a better footing in these and I can use them for deadliest and squats without distorting my form. I already want to buy another pair for walking. I noticed I was standing upright better; unlike running shoes that cause me to lean forward. Definitely recommend them to anyone considering a minimal shoes. I probably will stick to my running shoes for running and better cushionint but these are my new favorite!

    Xero shoes
Love them! Definitely size up though. Mine are fine but wish I had gotten one size up since they do not have 1/2 sizes. Super comfortable and cute. I will definitely be getting another pair. I got the black/white but will soon be getting a colorful pair one size up.

    Wide and not durable
The barefoot feel of these shoes is comfortable, BUT they are not durable at all. I have ended up buying multiple pairs of these shoes within a relatively short time frame due to the sole wearing out. Regular shoes do not do this. People with wide feet also seem to love them. I have narrow feet, so the fit is kind of strange and requires double socks sometimes.

    Life changing shoes!
I’d been suffering from a torn tendon for about a year – going to a podiatrist and in physical therapy, trying every “supportive” shoe in the market, inserting arch supports in them all, and listening to my podiatrist when she said I should never walk barefoot again. By luck and chance, I decided to start working with a well-educated trigger point therapist and the first thing he said was “why are you wearing arch supports when you already have high arches??”. Good question. If my arches are already high, then supporting them means causing them to arch even more, pulling on the tendons around my foot. As he said, humans were born without shoes so we should be walking around as if we don’t have them on. But we as civilized humans want to protect our feet from the elements, nature and man-made.He recommended I try barefoot shoes and after ordering a few different types and trying them all on, walking around my house for a few hours each, I settled on these because of the snug feel around my narrow foot and heel and because even going without socks while wearing them, the inner sole of the shoe didn’t rub wrong in any places (not on top, not on the bottom). And the type of laces used by the company stays laced when walking. All the shoes I’d been wearing over the past year made my feet ache after a few hours in them and I simply wasn’t healing as fast as I wanted to. After wearing these barefoot-type shoes for about a month, allowing my feet and arches to spread out, I’m starting to even run a few days a week! Now, I wouldn’t recommend anyone not take the advice of their doctor, but I would recommend thinking logically about the advice being given and consider alternatives. These shoes are one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health in years!

    shoe insert won’t stay put
These were my second foray into minimal shoes. I like the look ok, and the fact that my toes can spread in the shoes. But, the inside sole of the shoe is made to be removed and I wish it would stay put. It will not stay put, no matter what I do, so you are just walking on the rubber sole part, which is too close to the ground and you can feel rocks, etc. which some people like in minimal shoes, but then why make a sole inside at all? Seems cheaply made for the price and how they actually work out.

    The most comfortable shoes!
My second pair of Prios and I love them. Bought the first pair 4 years ago and now I have 7 pairs of different Xero shoes and boots in my shoe rack. Love them. The old pair still looks brand new on top but guess I drag my feet a bit and the sole wore off. Totally recommend!!!

    Great zero drop shoes.
I’m a fan of zero drop shoes. As such, I know the hallmarks of this type of design are minimal support, a feel for the walking surface, and a wide toe box. People who criticize these features don’t understand the point of the shoes. For me, these Xeros are fantastic. I bought my normal size—9.5. I could have fit into a 9, but these have room everywhere. Room for socks, room to relax my arthritic feet, room to walk at my normal gait. You don’t know how rare all that room is in a shoe, without being too big in any way. The lacing system enables me to tighten the mid-foot if I want an bit more support. These Prios are so cute as well. Can you tell I love them? Try them with an open mind, and I think you will too.

  10. Lizsaskia

As advised by other reviews, I went up half a size when ordering these and they fit perfectly! Loads of room for toes to wiggle and extra reinforced area for that upper part that always gets a hole in it when your big toe pokes into it. Comfortable to walk in and comes with an optional removable insole so you can decide how ‘barefoot’ you want to go depending on the surface you are walking on. Look good and like the photos, quick delivery, good instructions and packaging. Haven’t run in them yet as I read you need to get your feet used to them walking first, but my feet and knees feel good wearing them and I have high hopes when I do start running in them as I have always had fallen arches and knee pain, even with trainers with arch support. Would definitely recommend!

Really comfy, does what it says on the tin. But has to order a size up, and they still seem a little on the edge of being small.
