CAREFUL while walking, heel comfort, nice looking
Nice looking walking shoe. Key word: WIDE. I have a narrow foot but chose to try these due to some foot pain I’ve been experiencing with my normal walking shoes and to see if the extra toe room in front would be comfortable. My first thought when putting these on was that they would be comfortable for standing at my desk because they have a nice firmness in the heel, but you don’t really feel any comfort features in the ball of the foot. During walks my feet feel dry. You feel the platform of this shoe. Since the heel is firm and nothing in the front , it gives a propel forward sensation. I also feel support down the center of my foot that is nice, but also feels like my foot is on a beam, so I also feel a bit wobbly if my foot doesn’t land in the center. For example, if you have worn espadrilles or platform sandals, you know that if you catch an edge your foot is twisting and you are maybe going down because those shoes soles are not very flexible. With these shoes there is some flexibility or bend front-to-back but the outsole has the same design throughout, kind of like a whole piece, as in no bend if twisted. I say this because I did hit uneven pavement and almost fell. I could feel the non-flexibility of the shoe and the added instability of the platform. So instead of having a comfortable walk, I was actively not stepping on cracks and being careful of curbs, uneven sidewalks and driveways. It’s like these shoes took some of the comforts of just walking. My experience could have happened with my normal shoes, I just don’t think my foot would have twisted as much or I would have caught myself sooner versus the shoe dictating my fall. The other issue I have with these shoes is the loop on the back. My husband said it’s to probably help pull them on, which I get, but it sticks out so much that I see them getting caught on things which is another hazard. Don’t wear biking or walking on a trail because these loops could get caught on something. I probably will cut them off. I don’t feel any arch support but the shoes comes with arch stickers, which I haven’t tried yet, because they seem one use. Once I stick them and say I position them wrong, I can’t see these will stay put again because the felt of the insole is going to be in the glue. For walking, I’m giving these 3-stars. For standing at desk, 5-star for an overall 4-star compromise.

    Extremely comfortable shoes
I ordered these shoes because I am on my feet all day and need extra support in my heels and arches that these sneakers sure did deliver. Usually I have to order shoes that are ½ size larger just to give me extra room in my toes so they are not scrunched throughout the day. These sneakers are wide but are not too wide that they become too uncomfortable or felt too big. They fit perfectly. The shoes are attractive, comfort and adaptable. These came with an extra pair of support pads that can be fitted into the shoes to give you that extra support if needed. I found the support without them to be perfect for my feet but it is nice that if I needed a little something more, I have that option. They slip on easily so I don’t feel that I am crushing the back of the shoe while trying to get my feet into them. They are breathable and do not make my feet hot while working and walking and although I was confused about the back ribbon that is attached to the heal, I have used this to help pull the shoe up while putting on my shoes and It also gives me a way to attach them to my workout bag with a carabiner clip. If anyone knows what else that is for besides it looking cute, let me know!

    These are a YES
These are an arch support shoe, so I loved the left and disliked the right … doggone my foot was sore before I put them on. But worked a trade show with them on for two days. Day one left my foot slightly better but minor shin splints .. and day two was like a miracle happened. The pain was gone and exercised my foot and calf differently and I am in LOVE. Yes, LOVE!! These are just great with or without foot pain, I think you’d like them. Comfy and cute but the design is as described “arch support wide orthotic walking shoes comfortable” .. YEP!! ALL THAT!!! Great price too.

The heel cup is deep and forces a different gait when I walk
These shoes have a nice wide toe box. The materials used are quality and will wear appropriately and allow airflow as needed. They have a deep heel cup that rocks my foot backward more than my usual shoes do. I really didn’t like that and offered the shoes to my mom (who walks miles regularly). She loves the way they fit and feel when walking. So I guess it’s personal preference. The shoes are cute, and if you like a deep pocket for your heel, these would be great for you.

    Comfortable, well cushioned; pretty color
Gave these sneakers a good workout on vacation. Very comfortable — well cushioned and supportive. If you are doing a lot of walking, these are good shock absorbers on city sidewalks. I did not use the added self-adhesive arch support — didn’t feel it was necessary for me. You can also switch out the orthotic insert for your own. I have Achilles tendonitis and found that the ability to easily rock back on the heel made it very easy to stretch out my calf. I really like the purple color. I ordered my usual size and they fit great. They look good and seem well made — very good deal for the price, in my opinion.
