Comfy. So wide they’re almost clown shoes
One of my most unexpected surprise hits from Vine has been a set of slip-on shoes from Beprolam, so I was excited to try these. My usual US size is 11.5, but I sized down to 11 based on the size chart, and that was the right move: my previous Beprolam shoes were EU 45, and these turned out to also be EU 45.I like the overall appearance, actually – they’re pretty neutral sneakers. As another reviewer humorously stated, these aren’t winning any fashion contests, but they also aren’t goofy enough to be noticeable or remarkable – they’re just standard black-and-gray sneakers. The wide toe box is super noticeable, though – the way the shoe is curved in the toe area, they’re almost like clown shoes, and I wish they’d found a way to aesthetically reduce that effect a little. Bringing up the dark black leather a bit more to hide more of the mesh might have helped, as would lengthening the toe decoration a bit? It’s just slightly out of proportion in a way that catches your eye.Comfort-wise, these are pretty solid, although they are quite rigid in the back, making them a little challenging to break in. The soles are fairly tall in the back as well, so these add a slightly odd angle to my walk (as the front is not very tall at all).Kudos to Beprolam for leaving their brand entirely off of these other than a black-on-black label on the tongue that’s barely visible. It’s the right move for an unknown brand of shoe, and these are much classier as a result.All in all, a nicely made budget sneaker that delivers on the wide toebox with a few quirks. I’m not mad at these for the price, but I haven’t fallen in love the same way I did with the mesh oxfords.

This shoe is a good choice for men with wide feet. Extra room in the toe box means no more pinched toes and more comfort. They’re sturdy enough for long walks but maintain a clean white look, which I particularly like. They’ve been through puddles and mud and only require a simple wipe down to keep them looking good. Terrible durability!!!
I received these shoes one week ago. I absolutely love how comfortable they are and think they look ok, but Iâm extremely unhappy with their durability – Iâve been wearing them for one week and while not worn through they are showing considerable signs of wear. Very disappointed!

Great for wide feet, comfortable and just ugly enough
As a middle aged man, I have a real problem with buying wide shoes that are comfortable. I also get a lot of unneeded and unwarranted advances from people that adore my footwear and find my style irresistible.These sneakers are just ugly enough to keep the Looky Lous at bay and keeps the girls and guys from chatting me up.I did take the insoles out and put in my regular orthotics and they’re perfect. Sizing is spot on.
