Customers say

Customers like the appearance, toe box and value of the shoes. They mention that it’s an attractive looking canvas for the old school look, and that it has a wide toebox and narrow heel. They also appreciate the quality, fit, and comfort. That said, opinions are mixed on slip resistance and flexibility.

    Cute and comfy!
These are perfect. They don’t look as silly as I was worrying they would for how wide they are. They are super comfortable. I have plenty of room for my toes but they don’t feel floppy or unsecure on my foot. I like that they sort of resemble vans but much more ergonomically shaped. They are thin soled like most barefoot shoes which is a plus or a minus depending on your preference but I actually find my feet get less tired after standing all day than they do in a cheap pair of padded shoes I own.

Great shoe! Comfortable and durable so far!
This is my second pair of Whitins, and it definitely won’t be the last. The toe box is comfortable, and even though there’s a lot of room in the shoe, my foot doesn’t slop around. I’ve walked and walked in it so far, and it’s been comfortable. If you’re looking for deep cushion and stiff arch support DO NOT choose this shoe. This shoe is a minimalist-style zero drop shoe. It does have an insole, and it’s a very comfortable shoe, but this shoe is about letting your foot move and support you as it is designed to do, not to be a cushy straight jacket. The cost is so affordable for as nice a shoe as it is. I’m very pleased and will order more in the future.

    Nice shoes! 👣
Happy with these! It’s quite nice to have the room to spread my toes out and walk like a person was always intended to walk – not crammed into toe space that is restricting.. which causes issues with posture, foot strength, and gait stability. If you want to have less health issues, go with the closest to natural barefoot form. At least, that’s my view.I’ve owned barefoot shoes before, but they were not as comfortable as these are! I may eventually remove the insoles. It’s just convenient to have a little cushion while transitioning back into healthier habits for my feet.I was wondering about the sizing but followed the size chart and had no issues. I wear a size 8, and these fit me perfectly with socks. Without socks, they offer a bit more room, and that’s fine with me as well. I think these are a much better buy than a pair from a more expensive brand for the time being. I may even buy more colors in the future 🙂 cause these are simply snazzyUpdate: I’ve been wearing them almost every day since I got them in, and they are already becoming more comfortable for my feet. It’s just wonderful! I adore having room to actually move my toes around. Being closer to the ground with thinner soles is so lovely because I always feel more grounded. I feel like everyone should wear barefoot shoes! I know these are not the thinnest of soles for barefoot shoes, but it’s a great way to reintroduce my feet to spreading out and working all those muscles again 🙂 I also posted a picture of the Xero Aqua Cloud sandals next to these. They will be my other footwear this summer, and I’m so glad to own them as well. Have a great day/night ♥️

Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned
I was having a lot of foot pain due to my vans squishing my toes. And then I learned about wide toe boxes and how other shoes deform your feet. So I began to look at shoes that were cute and look like my vans but still had that wide toe box. I chose these shoes because they were the cheapest. When I first got them, I thought they were too big because there is a lot of room for your toes but after wearing them for a bit, my toes begin to spread out and they just fit perfectly. It doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing shoes! At first, I was concerned about the barefoot, but the zero drop is so comfortable! When I wear other shoes I can tell the difference in my posture and walk. I also feel more connected to the ground without feeling every single rock. The sole is very flexible and and lightweight, so it doesn’t feel like I just have a brick attached to my foot. My only lingering concern is how long they’re going to last. I have had these shoes for about five months and the souls are starting to wear out. They have also lost some of their color and started to fray a bit at the tip of the toe. However, they are heavily used, due to all my other shoes, feeling incredibly uncomfortable and comparison. I will be buying again and I do recommend the shoes. I think they would last longer if I had other shoes to cycle through. So I will be looking at other shoes from this brand because they’re amazing.

    Cute shoes
Fit nice and are comfortable. I don’t feel like they give a lot of support but I think that’s why they’re called “barefoot”🤗. Very roomy in the toe so some sort of sock is welcome.

    So wide and comfy,
Update: I’ve had the white shoes for 9 months and they are amazing and have held up very well. I scrubbed them with laundry detergent once and they show very minimal wear. I just ordered a black pair and have only worn them about a week and the sole is already separating from the main part of the shoe. I also noticed the heel is very stiff and tries to give me blisters. I don’t recall having that problem at all with the first pair.Love these shoes! The price is amazing, they look really cute with so many outfits, easy to clean, my toes can move. The quality feels good so I’m expecting them to hold up really well over time.

    comfortable shoe
I bought Whitin shoes because I have a bunion on the side of my foot. The front of the shoe is made wide which is what I was looking for. My feet did not hurt and I was very satisfied with the shoe.

  8. Clara Harris

Amazing, love the grounding, runs small though.
Typically size 8.5 women’s in Nike shoes, these fit me in the 7 wide option. They are super comfortable and have helped my back pain a lot once I relearned how to properly walk! Normal shoes force our bodies to walk with hip flexors, however these bare feet shoes retrain how to walk using more glute! Not the cutest shoe but definitely on the better side for the barefoot brand! Would definitely recommend, give them a chance for more than just a day and I’m sure you will love them!

First time wearing barefoot shoes. It’s great to wear in gym for lifting etc.It takes a while to get used to walking around with it so I added insoles as transitions. I do think it does good to my feet and knee and will keep on wearing these 🙂

  13. Jo

I measured the foot (heel to toe) and plus 1.2cm to it. Becos i intend to wear it with socks. It’s perfect. The only disappointment is the colour came slightly darker than the photo. Great shoe anyway.
