Sturdy & Easy to Use
I have ordered these twice now for different family members. They are good quality straps for a good price. We have used them many times and they’re holding up well. They are nice & long, easy to use & adjust even after they’re wrapped around your luggage. I like that these straps make our luggage more secure as it passes through several hands when we travel. The bright color also makes it easy to spot our luggage in baggage claim.

Easy to spot; a little less sturdy than I’d like
Luggage straps are a must with hard-side clam-shell suitcases where the zipper is the weak point. They also help when spotting your suitcase on a crowded luggage carousel.Pros:- These are fluorescent green and super easy to spot.- The two-step latch design seems especially secure.Cons:- The material of the straps themselves is a little thinner than other straps I’ve used.- The adjustment buckle is a bit flimsy.I had a casualty on the first use – the adjustment buckle was broken by the luggage handlers. At that point the strap is useless, since there’s no longer any way to tighten it. A tip that has served me well since then: position the strap so the latch and buckle are on the sides of the suitcase (e.g. where the handles and feet are) rather than the large exposed areas of the front and back of the suitcase. That makes them less vulnerable to being snagged on other luggage, which I’m sure is what happened in my case.

The luggage straps made finding our suitcases much easier
We purchased these straps to ensure that our suitcases did not open, and to assist us in identifying the suitcases during our travels. The straps succeeded in both cases. They were easy to put on, and stayed on the entire time (unless the TSA opened our cases, which I believe that they did). The straps are well made, and are sturdy.

First off, many people claim that the tags are hard to open to read the name inside, which is true. However, you can see the Name through the window,, and a bag with a bright green tag and a bright green straps with your name on it, is easy to identify. I also always put my name and address inside the bag in case a bag gets lost.The straps are good quality and buckles are very secure, with an extra tab that needs to be depressed in order to unlatch it. I am sure TSA will figure this out if they need to open your bag, and it does make me feel more secure. I often see bags in baggage claim with a broken zipper, the bag open and the contents of the bag are surely compromised.The only negative is the little screw thingy to hold the luggage tag on your bag is a bit difficult to negotiate, it took a relative amount of patience to screw it together, but it does seem secure once fastened. I am overall very happy with this purchase so I am not deducting points. Recommended! (I think now my wife want a set too)

Broke on Second Use
Used these for one trip with no issues. They worked as designed. While packing for the second trip I was going to use these on, the tensioning clip on one strap broke making the one strap useless. Too late to return.

Recently used four of these straps on two of our suitcases. On the positive side the bright green straps made it very easy to identify our cases on the luggage carrousel. On the negative side I found that the straps would not stay tight, the slightest jiggle of the strap caused it to loosen. I was not confident that they would stay tight during the rigors of the baggage handling process at a number of Airports during our holiday. In the end I had to resort to using duct tape on them for piece of mind that they would not come undone while ‘in the system’

They’re good value for money and help distinguish my suitcases on the conveyor belt. While these things are not really meant to act like a ratchet-style tie-down strap but they’re actually very sturdy and the clips don’t come off even under a lot of manual pressure.TIP: Always get your bags wrapped after putting on these to avoid them getting stolen off your bags.Very happy with the purchase.
