It”s a relley crappy product
i live in the US where we use 110v, but in korea,i used 220v. The plug didn”t fit properly because the diameter didn”t match, so it kept coming loose. Although the top terminal of the 220v was free voltage and worked without issues, when i went to France and connected an only 110v device to the 110v converter below, i smelled something burning and the device broke. how can anyone trust such cheap products? it”s a problem that Amazon even sells such junk. i wasted my money and ended up throwing the product in the trash. i trusted Amazon, but i suffered a huge loss. what”s the difference between this and buying from Aliexpress or Temu? i”m so disappointed, and i”ll never be fooled by such products again.For reference, i am an electrical expert.

Such an easy converter/adapter to travel with!
This product came packaged and ready for traveling! It’s the perfect size to fit in a carry on bag and worked really well when traveling through different countries. Made it easy because of the number of ports available – so the ability to charge multiple items was good.

Update: a couple days after I submitted the below review, I received a message offering a full refund for a defective product. Happy with the response and refund offer.————————————————————————————————————————–This product seemed to work great when I got it few months ago. I was looking for a converter smaller than the one I have right now which is the length of my hand. This one fit the bill, being palm-sized and having slots for two voltage choices. I started using it for a while with my laptop and my phone, which keep charge longer with a converter but don’t need it to charge safely. After that went well, I tried it with my devices that are not dual voltage, using them on the lower voltage setting. Both devices burned out on first or second use, simply not turning on afterwards. Would not recommend as it doesn’t actually seem to do the job of converting voltage based on the results.

Took this power converter to Peru – only one of the outlets workedTook this power converter to the UK – the ‘ground’ prong (the top vertical prong) was too big to fit in the outlets.Pretty useless.Update on 6/1/24The day after posting my original review 1-star, I was pro-actively contacted by Customer Service i.e. without me contacting them. This indicated that they read my review. They apologized for the inconvenience and poor shopping experience and offered a full refund. I appreciated their proactiveness I making my experience ‘right’. I’m updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of the follow up.

Do not trust the voltage converter, 2 broken devices
I live in the USA (110/120VAC, 60z) and bought this for a trip to Italy (230VAC, 50Hz) because I was bringing one device that was rated only for standard US voltage (all others rated 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz). I don’t own an AC generator so I was unable to test this converter until actually landing in Europe. I tried plugging the US-only rated device into the correct socket (for conversion), and it simply didn’t work, so I let it be. I tried another device, a hair straightener (again, rated for 100-240VAC) in the converter socket, and at first it worked, but quickly got very hot and stopped working entirely. Keep in mind this device was used daily on standard US single phase, single pole for over a year with no issues.. I stopped using the converter and relied on my cheap basic adapters for the rest of my devices on the remainder of the trip as they are rated for both US and Europe – no issues as usual.Unfortunately after returning to the US, both devices no longer work and the cost of both combined is greater than this converter was…If you have devices not rated higher than 120VAC and/or need voltage conversion for your devices while traveling, look elsewhere
