I am not even sure how to open this review as I try to give as many details about the product in pros and cons (without just copying spec details that you can read elsewhere)⦠I have a feeling this review may be simpler than others I have done but I will still try to say compare products.The TL/DR is that I have one negative (with a HUGE catch) with this speaker and EVERYTHING else is a Pro. I donât give out 5 out of 5âs, as something can âalways be improvedâ but ⦠this Tribit XSound Plus 2, is at worst 4.5 out of 5, and may actually get a 5 out of 5 from me.Pros: Pretty much everything⦠I really mean it. Sound Quality, Build Quality, Battery Life.. just everything.——————-Comparsion to other speakers in my experience.MaxSound Plus: While I am not 100% sure I almost view this âXSound Plus 2â as the âMaxSound Plus 2â …with that one it was tied with another speaker from Tribit (spoiler while I love some other brands too .. Tribit makes my top 4 favorite speakers) for my #1 favorite, however two things held it back .. lower battery life than expected but ⦠not terrible ⦠AND a bluetooth âhumâ or âbuzzâ at lower volumes that while annoying ⦠sort of blends into the audio a few âvolume notches upâ â¦.This XSound Plus 2 DOESNâT have that hum/buzz connected to the same device and the battery life is MUCH better. I can live with the MaxSound Plusâs battery life no problem ⦠but this model IS BETTER and like I said I sort of feel this is the âMaxSound Plus 2â.XSound Go: This GREAT speaker is the one that was tied with the MaxSound Plus as my co-#1 favorites ⦠it has much better battery life in my experirence then the MSP, and it has great sound (MSP plus wise Iâd compare this to the âMusic Modeâ in the MSPâs built in EQ settings on the speaker itself) ⦠that EQ thrio of Music, Bass and Audio Book (which YT reviews I have seen do not do it justice) is why the MSP is tied despite having lower battery life. The XSound GO HAS GREAT SOUND itself, donât get me wrong.Not counting an ADDITION to even this ⦠The XSound Plus 2 is sort of the best of both the MaxSound Plus AND the XSound Go. Tribitâs done it again and made a GREAT product.———————————-The big new thing that was added in addition to improving things that were issues for me (at some level anyway) with the MaxSound Plus, is that this speaker HAS Tribit App support. I have used a few devices with apps including Soundcore (I need to use that one again), Fiilâs and Oontzâs and other than perhaps Soundcoreâs .. Tribit has the best app of the bunch. I will not go into boring details but it gives you a lot of control and perhaps the best deviceâs (not counting say android apps like Wavelet that can be used on any BT device) app of the bunch that I have tried. Yet again .. .Well done Tribit.————————————The Negative:Here is the thing ⦠there is a BIG catch at the end. The issue is that the Power button on my speaker TURNS it on and everything functions like normal; however, the power button does NOT turn the speaker off no matter what I do.My workaround: unpair the XSound Plus 2 from the device (usually an android tv box but that doesnât matter) ⦠this means it DOES NOT show in that devicesâs BT device list any longer. At this point it goes into pairing mode and (I could have the time off here) within 2 to 5 minutes max it shuts off if it cant connect to anything. Not ideal but this method of shutting it off works while only âwasting a little moreâ battery life.THE CATCH to this negative: I bought this as my first Amazon âUsed- Acceptableâ condition product. Used Acceptable is sort of like âthift store level findâ to me (only with a 30 day return window too) ⦠OTHER than this issue I mentioned, everything seems BRAND NEW. I KNOW from prior experience with Tribit products that this is NOT NORMAL and not typical for someone reading this review.I also HAVE TO mention because of this condition ⦠I bought this from Tribitâs parent company as a seller ⦠AT A MASSIVE price discount. Less then 25% of what I am seeing as the retail price. All of this info (problem that isnât that bad, everything else being âbrand newâ level including the condition of the actual speaker, AND the price I paid) â¦. equals a VERY HAPPY customer, writing this review.———————I donât think I have to say it but of course I TOTALLY recommend not only this speaker but other Tribit products. I have always been happy with their products and WHEN there is an issue, they repeatedly go above and beyond in my view to âmake things rightâ (donât have issue often, but it happen). To be totally fair ⦠I saw a deal for a âused-very goodâ (if I remember) XSound Plus 2 come up ⦠again the seller being Tribitâs parent company and ⦠I ordered it two days ago, lol ⦠I have another one of these on the way.

Easy to hook up to my cell phone and smart tv, very loud and the bluetooth range is everything and more then it said, can leave my cell in my house and take this all the way out to the pool and its loud. Very happy with this little burger.

Good speaker, inaccurate battery life
TLDR; If youâre not concerned with battery life, or have no need for a speaker to run longer than 8 hours, this little dude is hard to beat.First of all, this little speaker is a significant upgrade in sound quality from my previous portable speaker. I use this when traveling to play white noise and my old speakerâs charging port gave up on me. I got this one because it was similar size but has usb-c. The battery life wasnât super important to me because I donât really intend to use it without a charger, however I have tested it 3 times with a full charge and it would not play more than 8 hours. Which isnât horrible, but not even half of the advertised time. If I needed something with extended run time, I would be very upset with how this product was marketed. Thatâs the âdownsideâ I suppose. The sound on this is really quite impressive. I had to keep the volume at max on my previous speaker and even then, it often wouldnât mask noises as much as my home set up would. This one is quite loud, and produces a very clear sound. I am very happy with the speaker and the volume/sound quality it produces. Just be aware the battery isnât close to what is advertised.

This is my 3rd Tribit portable speaker. I use when bike riding or outside on the patio. Awesome sound volume and battery life…the best yet. Bluetooth paring works reliably. It’s a good, loud speaker that you can get wet and it’ll keep playing
Battery life claim of 24 hours is a bit optimistic, it’s probably possible if you leave it on 40% volume but it definitely won’t do that at max, closer to 16 hours. Other than that, very loud for its size, good quality audio. This is replacing my car speakers and also does a great job of being a shower speaker because of it being very water resistant.

Worth the wait
I have had Tribit speakers before and really liked them. Only problem was the charging port would fail. I put off buying another until I started reading the reviews on the xsound plus 2. The stereo sounds the two speakers linked together makes is great. They stay charged all day. I like everything about these speakers. Even the price is reasonable for the pair. To get the full effect buying two is best. And they changed the port to a C type.

Great little speaker! I owned many little speakers and larger ones in my life. I decided to purchase a small one for my travels as the old one I gave away. I tested the last 7 days and was very satisfied with the size, sound and battery life. As well big point for the USB-C charging port. I am very happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend it!

Macht genau was sie soll, lange Musik abspielen, Lärm und handlich sein.Gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Hier darf man keinen Storm Blast Wumms erwarten, aber um anständig und auch stylisch, wie ich finde, Musik hören zu können, ist die Box perfekt.
