    Good quality
The buckle is very well built and sturdy. It was worth the cost, easy to use and store in my carry on and has a large range of adjustability. It’s lightweight and performs exactly as described. Highly recommend this product versus spending money on a new bag with a sleeve for a luggage bar.

    Effective
I have a tote bag from Marc Jacobs and I mainly use it for traveling due to its size. However, it doesn’t have an insert for the luggage handle and the first time I traveled with my tote bag (+ several personal items), I had to sling it on my shoulder since it kept slipping off my carry-on luggage. That’s why I’ve decided to purchase this to easily put my tote bag in place.By the looks of it, I knew that this product is durable and I wasn’t wrong about it at all. It’s an adjustable strap — therefore, you can adjust it according to your bag’s size. I don’t think it can handle larger, bulkier handbags, though. It has truly served its purpose during our last travel. It made my travel experience better. You just have to tighten it enough for your bag not to slip.

    Meh… Great Idea; Mediocre Performance
Travel is difficult for me because I use a cane. I have been intrigued by travel straps because I use one carry-on and a tote.BUT…I was careful to understand how the strap works. There is a band on the strap the sides over your telescoping handle. (check)Place your tote (or secondary piece of luggage) on top of your carry-on. Run the strap around your tote and cinch tightly. Check and check. In theory, your secondary bag should be somewhat secure. The reality: Strap needs some adjusting to fit around your tote (or upper piece.)The buckle kept jamming making it difficult to get my smaller bag secure (and it was a medium totebag. Soft material. I was not crazy unreasonable about the size, material or weight of the tote.)Then I couldn’t get it removed because the buckle jammed and i couldn’t get it open or shut to try again. The strap is of good quality. The buckle seemed of decent quality until it jammed (one prong engaged, the other did not) and I spent 10 precious airport minutes to find a seat and try to get it apart.Maybe I was expecting too much and two pieces of luggage will always be a balancing act and even a strap doesn’t solve much.I wound up checking my carry-on and carrying the tote. The strap just kept slipping (even when pulled as tight as I could tighten it) and I still struggled every step of the way.I may try the “name brand strap” in hope it does a little better.

Have wanted to get something to hold a backpack onto my suitcase for a long time
This is going to be perfect for travel ease. Have a backpack that does not have a suitcase sleeve to carry the backpack without sliding off. Was a real pain trying to balance it on the suitcase while moving thru the airport. This is perfect, holds tightly and very easy to attach and remove. Would recommend.

    Very Sturdy
Travel Belt for Luggage worked well for the tour bus trip I just took. The part that slides down over the handle of the suitcase definitely helped hold my backpack on the suitcase. The belt was nice and wide and the metal buckle was substantial and stayed locked but was easy for me with my arthritis to be able to open. For me the easiest way to take my backpack off the suitcase was to just pull it straight up off the handle and leave the belt in place for the next time during travel. I just took the belt completely off when I finally got to my hotel room. There is only one thing of note for me and that is how slick the material of the belt is. Even with it pretty tight around my bag it tended to slip down a little over time. I adjusted for this by putting it a little higher to start but because I had my laptop in my backpack I didn’t want to tighten it too much. I’m not sure how I would fix this but I might try to put some sort of fastener on the belt to attach it to my canvas bag. Wouldn’t work for all bags but others might not have the slippage issue.Overall I do like the belt because of the width and sturdiness of it. It has the potential to be great when walking through an airport or hotel lobby.
