Great customer service
This belt is great. have a skin allergy to metal and needed a plastic buckle. It worked well but the plastic prong broke. The belt no longer can stay buckled because the clip is now too short to stay threaded through the hole. I emailed Thomas Bates Co. directly and they responded almost immediately offering to send me their new and improved durable prong for replacement. Kudos for excellent customer service!

The belt is very stylish and the belt itself seemed heavy duty. Unfortunately the buckle needs work though, after wearing it for a week the buckle just broke. I am returning this product.

It will go through a metal detector without an issue
Not a bad looking belt and it will definitely get through a metal detector no problem. It does appear to be real leather the only draw back the brown belt comes with a black buckle. It could at least be brown if not silver.

Nice leather belt with a terribly low quality buckle
This belt appears to be good quality until you examine the belt buckle and see that that its made of a plastic seemingly out of a cheap consumer level 3D printer. You can even see the plastic extrusion lines from the printing.Unfortunately, this means after just a few months of wearing this belt, the buckle broke on me and now Im left with a $40 strap of useless leather.

Great belt that still isn’t showing signs of wear
I got a belt without metal to move around my work location without removing my belt to go through the metal detectors. I didn’t know how well the buckle would hold up given what I normally put my belt/jeans through, but 5 months later and this belt doesn’t even look well worn.I have been at work 4-5 days a week since I bought the belt and wear it every day. If I need to get a different color or smaller size in the future I plan to buy from the same seller again.

Mens belt Bad quality
I wore this belt for a month and the buckle part broke so I fixed it with a peice metal because it broke on me at work when I bent over and then the main buckle broke in half. I’m not to happy about it because it wasn’t a cheap belt. I’m allergic to zinc that’s why I went to plastic. I can’t return it because it was only a 30 day warranty and it broke a few day’s after the warranty was up. I’m so pissed off about it. I was very happy with the belt until it broke
