Decently tough, smooth spinner wheels, good value
We recently got a set of luggage for my son to travel to college with. The first set we got was cheap and awful: the wheels didn’t roll well and the telescoping handle was sloppy – it was very hard to use. We sent that back and got a Samsonite set. That was great, but more than twice as expensive.My wife and I need a set for an upcoming trip to Asia. I was going to get another Samsonite set, but I saw this one from Takumi and wanted to give it a try, since it was half the price. I was surprised that this set, while costing as much as the other budget set I tried earlier, was actually well made and worked great. The wheels are smooth and sturdy – there was no wobbling. The handle is also sturdy and doesn’t wiggle. The shells seem pretty tough, and there is plenty of space inside. The included tote bag is a nice addition, but it’s nothing special. The carry on is on the smaller side, which I prefer since I sometimes use it on CRJs and the larger ones don’t quite fit in those tiny overhead bins.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this set was for the price. If you need some good luggage on a budget, this set will do nicely.

Pretty, but not sure about longevity
This set is beautiful to look at. I’m not so sure about the quality though. I get the feeling that it wouldn’t hold up for heavy airline travel. I just got the carry-on set, so it’s likely that it won’t get banged around by the airlines like larger pieces. The wheels work very smoothly. The latch tabs on the zippers pop into the lock fine, but they don’t pop out with much force when you release them like other suitcases I own do. I really like the appearance of these, but time will tell how durable they are.

Yâall! THIS. SET. IS. GORGEOUS. Not only is it gorgeous, but it is FANTASTIC quality!Letâs talk about the spinners! There are THREE (in the 5 piece set) that all stack within one another for minimal storage space when placing in a closet until the next usage (LOVE THAT). Each spinner has a hard shell (which is a requirement for our family when traveling for sturdiness) and has an awesome lock on each of the suitcases for an extra level of security. The zippers glide when opening, so no fussing with finicky zippers.The wheels glide easily through the airport, and look so luxe and posh! The cream and âleatherâ look is a great way to add a touch of class when traveling.In addition to the spinners, you also get a soft overnight weekender bad and an organizational zippered pouch for toiletries or smaller items.Overall, this set is FANTASTIC and well worth the investment! Well designed luggage set
My old check-in bag that I have had for almost twenty years was getting a bit shabby. So, I got this new hard sided bag to replace it. I am impressed with the many features of this bag. The two newest innovations are the four wheels instead of two and the built in TSA lock. Both of these are a nice touch. Then, the hard sides will go a long way to preventing your belongings from getting crushed and smushed. No more broken hair dryers or permanently wrinkled shirts.This bag weighs just a bit more than my old one that was cloth covered, so that is going to make it a bit harder for me to lift, but the four wheels make it much more manageable and allow you to roll it instead of supporting the weight with your arms using only two wheels.The included matching expandable carry-on bag is very nice and has all the features of my old backpack that I formerly used. The zippers work well in the expansion bottom which has been a weakness in other bags I have had. I like that you can fit the bag over the handle of the suitcase. The toiletry bag is a nice size and could be used for other things as well.I am only giving this set four stars because of the fact that all of the accoutrements on the check-in bag, including suitcase sides, wheels, handles, zippers, etc., are made of plastic. I am not sure of the potential longevity of this set, but donât think it will outlast my old one.

Set of 5 classic pieces of hard sided luggage
5 pieces of luggage-1) largest size for checked luggage, spacious and solid youâll have to be careful not to go over the weight limit because it fits so much. The cat shows you how big. Iâll the suitcases have zippers on the side that snap into in the lock. The brown details are put on very solidly and really add to the look. Iâm sure theyâll be easy to find on the carousel.2) midsize for weekend trips. Iâm not that heavy of a packer so this one will get used the most by me. All the handles snap up nicely to easily be pulled.3) carryon rolling bag4) the duffel bag is great! It expands so it really is two sizes in one. Take it smaller to your destination and then unzip it so you have room for your souvenirs. The front pockets are perfect for your empty water bottle and electronic accessories.5) toiletries bag with the side snaps to expand it as well.Literally everything for both my husband and I to use on trip, large or small.

Great set for the price!
Great suitcase set for the price! I can’t believe you can get 3 suitcases and two bags for this price. There is great zippers and storage areas in the suitcase also. The only odd part is that the brown straps on the bag are really shiny. But other than that I really like this set.

Nice for Infrequent Travelers
I travel for a living, so am used to heavy duty suitcases. However, for those who don’t travel much, this hard-sided suitcase is nice for infrequent trips. It’s very light and a good size. The wheels are plastic and don’t seem that sturdy. The handle is also plastic, but hooked to metal on the pull portion, which is good. The body is made of nice plastic and seems to be quite strong. This is a good value for the price.

Excellent Quality
I couldnât be happier with this set of luggage! The quality is beyond phenomenal and itâs super sturdy and durable. This luggage set looks far more expensive than itâs reasonable price tag would suggest. All of the zippers function smoothly and the wheels roll very easily. I love that the coordinating travel bag has a trolley sleeve. Highly recommend!
