I love the way these pants fit except for the transition from shorts to zip offs on the inside. For me, the band of material feels rough and will chafe. Thus I am returning them. Too bad because I liked everything else about these pants!

So comfortable!
I’m a late 60s woman with a post-meno body, so when the sizing is spot on except for the waist, I have a hard time finding comfortable pants. They’ll fit everywhere but my waist. But these have an elastic waistband which makes them pretty perfect for me. They’re lightweight, with an elastic cuff that actually fits and isn’t four inches too long. There are plenty of pockets, though I do prefer a slanted pocket in the front; these are flapped with Velcro. Not a bad thing, just a personal preference. I also love that the ‘shorts’ that are left after unzipping the lower leg have a 5″ inseam, which is perfect. I would highly recommend these very comfortable convertible pants. I’ve already bought a second pair!

Great Pants
This is a great pair of pants. They fit well and are very comfortable. They also look nice. The fabric is a bit heavier weight (not too heavy though!) and has a higher quality look and feel. They convert easily to shorts whenever needed. Iâve worn them all day and been very comfortable. The waistband is nice and stretchy. The pants have a lot of pockets which is great. They are a little unusual in not having back pockets but the front pockets are very roomy. They have Velcro fastened flaps over the top two. These wash well and seem very durable.

Love love! In my travel and hiking bags already
I put it on (pics) and saw immediately this is very well designed for active wear! And looks good on.1. The tapered elastic cuff at bottom prevents bugs!2. The material is super light weight parachute style and definitely dries quickly. So great for layering or for summer hikes!3. The zipper works great. However, I would be careful still, it can catch or it looks like there might be some weaker seam spots. Overall still sturdy and worth it.4. Rolls up into almost nothing! Great for packing.5. Pockets are awesome too! Designed for smart hiking and camping!6. Breathable material .. easy wicking. I really love it.I will certainly reduce some things in my closet now.. this replaces at least 1 hiking and shorts set!

Thin legs
I love the type of hiking pat that can be converted to shorts. So I was glad to see this feature. I liked the short zipper on the bottom of each leg too. I would have preferred a zipper all the way up the leg to where the shorts started so I could get that portion off while wearing hiking boots but I guess that is what the short zipper is supposed to allow.There was a zippered pocket on each leg below my knee. This is lower than I have in my other pants but I liked it. The two pockets near the wide waistband had a velcro closure in the middle but it still would be possible for items to get out on each side.However, I found that the diameter of the legs ran very slim. So if you have muscular calves or thighs, these pants probably would not be a comfortable fit. For me, I may wear these when doing errands around town but not while hiking unless my legs get smaller or else I will wear them just as shorts.

Overall the quality is fine, not excellent for the price. It also runs narrow. I am usually between a SM/M, I ordered a M and they were still too narrow.Updated: I returned them and ordered a large. They fit great and are flattering. Return was easy. I recommend sizing up.
