High Versatility

The gas stove is perfect for pans up to 10-inch. It is a compact and lightweight stove that is ideal for a single person or couple going camping, hiking, picnicking.

Q: What’s the Difference between Butane and Propane?

A: An 8oz. butane canister can burn on high for about 1.25 hours. While a 1lb propane tank can last 1.5 hours on high heat. If you are going camping in winter or in a chilly area, you have to use propane over butane gas.

Safety Tips to Follow: If you want to use propane gas, the stove can ONLY be used outdoors. Must be used on a stable and even surface to prevent falling over and creating an accident. Remove the canister when not in use to avoid butane leaks.

    Good basic camp stove
Purchased for power outages so I can have my coffee, got to have my coffee. Single burner stove works well. Dual fuel as in butane / propane gas. Heat output is good as well as quality. Large enough to safely cook with medium size pot or pan, yet small size for easy storage. Quick and easy lighting with a safe ignition built in gas valve. No leaks and ready to use out of box. Comes with carrying case that is not very durable. Good versital stove that should last for years.

Camping burner with extended gas cable for external gas tank
Have not yet tried but seems a bit light. Will give a try at campground if a month. Nice to have the adapter for the external gas tank in case you do not want to use the small gas can. 18 pan max suggested. Looks very easy to use. It has its own case to store it. plastic case feels very light/fragile so ok for storing but sure not an heavy duty case. Simply storing case with care.

Great stove good price. One flaw
So right away I’ll tell you this stove is not unlike the others on the market as far as how it works and how it’s made etc. the GasOne products are basically the same thing. This one however is a good bit cheaper.I bought this over the gasone mainly due to the fact it shipped with the hose for connecting an lp gas bottle instead of the short piece of hard tubing the gas one stove now uses. My setup didn’t allow space for the gas lp bottle to sit directly beside the stove as required with the hard line connection. The hose this stove uses would allow me to situate the gas bottle away from the stove enough for it to be out of the way. Or so I thought. The stove does come with the hose but when this hose gets cold (which is the only time I’d be using the stove due to butane not being an option in colder weather) the hose gets very stiff and practically unmanageable. It’s very difficult to place the gas bottle where you want it. It kind of goes where it wants. I was able to make it work with some fiddling around but a more flexible hose would her been more desired for this application. When it’s warmer out I’ll just use butane so this will not be an issue at all unless cold weather camping which sadly is why I bought it.Maybe I can find a better hose but if not I can manage with this one.Great price on this one tho. Nice stove.

    Great product
Bought this to take camping and it worked great. Fixed gravy in a 10” iron skillet and it was awesome. Heated up fast.

    Not happy! Received it smashed
I received my camping stove the day I left for a 2 month camping/roadtrip. The box was smashed, wasn’t expecting the product itself to also be damaged & did not find out until after my 4 hr drive to my destination and I was completely unpacked & setup. Dinner time rolls around & I opened up the box to find the case & camp stove crushed/bent completely on one corner. The door that opens for the cylinder barely hanging on & the cylinder unable to fit in the chamber. I not only was unable to use my camp stove , but unable to make a return for a new one within the 30 days because I was out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the forest 2-1/2 hrs from a town, with no service/internet.I was NOT about to drive to the nearest town just to make a complaint/return so I waited until I needed supplies 3 weeks later, did the formalities with explanation and pictures, but was denied & told I could not do a return. So I’m stuck with a broken unusable camp stove. 👍✔️

    Great improvement !!
Finally !!!…..someone was smart enough to add a propane adaptor to these type stoves. Sometimes, I go camping or prospecting and have to bring the propane setup for colder weather, but it sits taller and a little unstable. I like using the Gas One model, because it has a stable platform, but, the butane doesn’t work well in colder weather. Nice to be able to attach the hose, and use propane…Thanks to whoever improved upon this…Update 12/5/23. When disconnecting the propane from the stove, make sure you do it from the tank end of the hose. The propane bottle has a shut off valve that closes when you unscrew the bottle. If you try to unscrew it at the stove end, gas will leak out because there is no shut off valve at that end. Also, when moving the stove about to either change the bottle, or place it elsewhere, make sure to re-check the fitting at the stove end, and re-tighten if needed, as it comes loose a little when you move it around.

    Pleasantly Surprised!
What a neat gadget! I was able to attach my Green mini propane tank to this also with zero issues! It was perfect size for our packing up to head out camping. It has a sleek size, super easy to start up (once properly connected) No issues with fire or too much flame, SUPER SAFE! It’s at such a great price too!I am so excited to have this for future trips.

SHINESTAR Dual Fuel Stove with Butane & Propane Compatibility
OK, first chance to test the product. Easy to install the butane cans and it started up the first attempt. I checked all connections BEFORE trying it out. I have not tried propane but feel sure it’s going to be a winner. Nice blue flame with the butane. I also got a hose to attach this unit to a 20lb propane tank. I also have a few 1lb cans of propane. I didn’t “USE” the product. I only tested it to be sure it would work. The case it came in was a creme color probably called white. Rather thin and the latches are rather flimsy but adequate.I’m quite sure this thing will perform as it’s advertised. Flame on the very first attempt. All in all… exactly what I wanted…

    OK

  10. Amazon Customer

    Perfect for what I wanted!

  11. N. S. Lee

Works as advertised. Just make sure when using a 20lb propane tank to use the proper hose so that you get enough pressure to produce a flame. I made the mistake initially of using a propane tank hose with a built-in regulator together with an adaptor, but barely got any flame as the pressure was too down regulated. But with the proper hose, everything works fine.

  12. Amazon Customer

Perfect for when the power goes out

  13. It is quite sturdy, big enough to hold many items, a life saver when it comes to organizing a bedroom.

I got it as a gift for a friend but the gray box, unlike the product description, is loose fit, and make the product look cheaper than its real value
