The perfect charger for the traveler
I first learned of this product when on a business trip in Thailand. I had just come from Papua New Guinea and had a number of USB chargers for my phone and tablet, my laptop’s charger and a couple of small plug adapters. A colleague was there from the States with a Momax charger. I ordered him a replacement from Amazon and he gave me his on the last day of the conference. This is my go-to charger now for my HP Spectre x360 13-inch laptop. I have taken it on numerous international trips with the need for no other USB chargers. Just grab a few USB charging cables and you are all set. I recommend a 10-ft USB-C cable rated for at least 65-watt charging.When I ordered a couple of new USB-C-powered laptops (a 2023 HP Spectre x360 13 and a HP Envy x360 15.6″), I ordered another Momax charger to use with one of the new computers.If you have a USB-C-powered computer and travel internationally a lot outside of the Americas region, then you need this charger.Pros- power-pass-through means the device doesn’t actually take up an outlet- easy to configure plugs means you are able to quickly plug it in no matter what country you are in- multiple USB ports for charging various devicesCons- need to pay attention to the instructions about how many watts are available with different charging scenarios- does not include a USB cable. Not a biggie but it does require making sure that the cable you purchase meets the specifications for charging a 65-watt device

Excellent but one adverse feature was not mentioned in the instructions
This is a really excellent adapter. It’s international nature, its ability to charge multiple devices with USB-A, USB-C and USB-C (PD), and the capability to plug in many countries’ different plugs make it adaptable to lots of situations and usage scenarios. The one feature I struggled with was how to push in a two-pin USA plug into the front face multi-socket. Many reviews have indicated that it’s difficult to do because the socket holes are “blocked” and that is correct, but if you put a two-pin plug in at an angle (pointing down at 45 degs to the front face when the adapter is in a wall socket (with the 4 USB sockets facing the floor), the socket holes are revealed and the two-pin plug can be pushed in with a small amount of effort. I nearly returned my adapter because of this “feature” but I figured it out eventually. It would have been helpful if the instructions on this feature were included – not least to prevent buyers’ disappointment and many returning their adapters to Amazon. Surely better instructions would be win-win for buyers, and the seller too.

OK, I’m impressed with the USBC-PD power that’s available from this. It is fantastic that I can use it to directly power my Macbook. All my other devices are easy, so I’m not worried about the phone and airpods, etc. That I can power my laptop is awesome.Do take note that when inserting a two-prong “American” plug into the face of this thing that there is a plastic shutter that has to move out of the way. Look in there with a light (and maybe magnifier if you’re at a certain age) and you’ll see the angled ramp on those shutters. Match that angle with your plug to make it easier to move that shutter. The shutters are meant to ramp out of the way when you plug something in. It is not defective when it is a bit tough to put that plug in. It is to ensure that nothing else gets in there that you don’t want in there. Loosen it up a bit by repeatedly plugging and unplugging and it’ll be fine. The first time can be tough.And a final note: Purple is my wife’s favorite color. And this thing is her favorite version of purple. So huge win. 🙂

Functionality wise it does the desired job very well & I would recommend it.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Worked well for most of the powering needs & should cover almost all the countries since these have EU, UK & US AC extensions, and all other countries have adapted to either of these- Has 2 USB-A & 3 USB-C PD output portI have not seen the heating issue as of now during my test- Easy to use- Overall build quality is good. Very premium- Feels durable and long-lasting- The design gives a unique look to these- Very reasonably priced in this competitive market- Manufacturer warranty includedCons:- None that I see for this price and the power it delivers

I keep leaving these things in hotels and airport lounges. This one is without any doubt the best I have had, except for the larger heavier ones that deliver 100W or more. But why would you need that much power? This is a really good compromise and fits easily into the electronic connectors cases we use. The PD adapter built in really does work and deliver a rapid charge. From the choice of outputs and the multi-country socket on the top, this adapter is excellent. I don’t buy these on the basis of the colour, but if you like that sort of thing – it looks good.
