Fantastic quality speaker for the price, maybe not as loud as some people would like
Let me start by saying I love this speaker. I work at Walmart and we have these for $59, and only in black, camo, and silver. Iâve been wanting one for a while so I decided to go on here and check for cheaper prices first. Boy, am I glad I did! Not only was I able to get these for a good $20 cheaper, but in my favorite color; pink!These are very good quality speakers, the first thing I did when I got mine was throw it in the pool to see if it was really waterproof like it says. I only left it in there for about a minute because I just wanted to hurry up and listen to music, but it does indeed float and no piece of hardware seems to have suffered as a result (thereâs a rubber piece that covered the aux and charging port, and I worried that water might deep in after so long. But that appears to have not been the case). So if youâre thinking of taking one of these to go casually canoeing or kayaking, I would definitely recommend it, just so long as youâre not going white water rafting or anything intense (the speaker is pretty small and can fit in the palm of your hand, so it might get lost a bit too easily in rapids even if it does float).Now, onto the sound. The sound quality itself is – in my opinion – about what youâd expect from JBL. Very pristine and clear, no lags or sudden disconnections from Bluetooth like some speakers have. The volume honestly doesnât get all that high, even with your phone and the speakersâ volume at full max. However, itâs plenty loud enough for normal folk to enjoy while youâre swimming, hiking, boating, working, or whatever. Though when you take into consideration its small size, I am honestly impressed with how loud it gets. So if youâre wanting something compact that you can blast the neighbors out of house and home with, this definitely isnât for you.Now the clip. Letâs face it, the thing that probably attracts us most about this speaker is the fact it has a built-in clip for you to take it wherever you want; portable music! And it honestly accomplishes that feat really really well. A lot of cheaper clips wonât stay straight when you try to hook them onto things, and you have to physically move it back into place to fully âhookâ. Not this thing. Iâve hooked it onto doorknobs, backpacks, the belt loops of my jeans…Iâve never had to readjust. Just clip and go. And for that reason alone I feel this thing is a keeper.The battery life is supposed to be around 10 hours, and I honestly havenât used it a WHOLE lot so far but it feels like it lasts longer to me. That may be just because Iâve been using it for a few hours on and off and not for the 10 hours straight, but the battery still lasts a good while. I got about 8-9 hours right out of the box alone, with no charging.The ONLY thing that bugs me about this thing are the tiny, almost microscopic rubber nubbies on the bottom. I know theyâre probably there for traction or whatever if you set it down on something, but they really irritate me to feel against my skin when Iâm holding or carrying it. However itâs a small thing thatâs definitely not a dealbreaker, and 90% of the time itâs gonna be hooked to something and not rubbing against my skin anyways. So other than that little thing this speaker is 100% gold to me!Basics overall:1. Sound quality: 9/102. Volume: 7/103. Portability: 10/104. Waterproofness: 10/10 (though granted, I havenât extensively tested this one, how long are you really gonna leave this thing in the water?)5. Battery life: 10/106. Easy, Portable, and Works!
I got the Sand color to be used for photoshoot sessions to hype people up, itâs just a nice touch and the sound is great, nothing spectacular but good for a small zone, it can get loud enough to the point where itâs disruptive to the public lol. No problems with connecting to my iPhone 13 on Spotify, but I havenât tried disconnecting and reconnecting to new phones a whole lot. Overall good for the price, I personally would have gone for a different color though. The Sand is more of a khaki and I think pink would be prettier.One note though, the barcode sticker was placed DIRECTLY over the serial number. Super annoying especially since you need the serial number to register for warranty, but I guess I wonât be returning anyways.

Great Purchase
I have wanted one of these Clip since using my sister’s light teal one. The sound is awesome for the size, a good amount of low end (again for a small speaker) and I chose the red because it won’t be hard to miss and it’s bright and cheery! Who doesn’t like bright and cheery!? I can have my phone in the house and walk all around outside the house and into the yard quite a ways before I notice any issue with connectivity. It’s small enough to toss into any purse, bag, car console or clip on a belt loop or backpack and go anywhere. Would highly recommend for a personal purchase or a gift for anyone who enjoys having their music or podcast with them coming from something that sounds better than your iphone speaker. Not too hard on the wallet either. Hello? Waterproof too. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me!

Came with a charging cord, no charging block. Good sound for a small speaker. Connects via Bluetooth easily. Use it for work and pairs quickly to my Surface Pro. Good for travelling. Had a very useful clip. Right now, itâs clipped to my shower rod for shower music and makes for amazing acoustics. Got it on a flash deal. Donât know if Iâd pay full price. I have a Charge 4 and itâs a better quality and lasts longer. If you have another JBL,You can link them and have the same music playing all around your house. Super neat aspect to JBL
