    Fast results
I’m into cycling and weight lifting. This little ECG monitor lets me know when my heart is acting up or normal, this helps me gage the intensity of my workouts due to occasional V-Fib. GREAT PRODUCT!!

    One flaw
I like the external pads you can use on your body. The heart rate reading is fairly accurate. The biggest problem with this device is the display of your heart rhythm is not accurate and instead of being an actual image of your heart rhythm is a preprogramed blip that resembles a standard rhythm. My EMAY heart EKG Monitor is much better at displaying an accurate view of the normal and abnormal I have.

    Amazing device!
This monitor works great! The screen is small, but large enough to read rhythms, and I had no difficulty downloading the app and transferring the 30 second recordings to my phone via Bluetooth where they can be sent to others. I haven’t used the leads and pads, but the tracings using the palm and thumb contacts worked well.

    Don’t lose the charging cable
The one thing I feel is most important is the fact this charging cable is NOT universal so do not lose it. Also, if you do lose it like I did, there is no way to replace it OR get ahold of this company’s customer service to ask where I can buy this at. Luckily I was able to find it (was in the box it shipped in) and the cable says it’s a micro d, which after researching online it is in fact not available to buy. Just thought this should be mentioned. As far as the device, it works ok. When using the attached electrodes with the cord it seems to work, but the one on the device does not work, at all. Luckily the battery does seem to last a good amount of time so there’s that. Also there’s an option to take either 30 sec, 60 secs, or 5 mins recording so that’s also nice. However the reading that syncs to your phone is weak (weak signal/reading) and doesn’t show details which my cardiologist said is important and relevant. You can play back the reading on the device which is detailed, but anywhere else it’s not. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth spending over $100 on this.

    Does not power up
The item does not power up. The manufacturer offers no troubleshooting, and their web site offers no customer support. The item is smaller than expected. For others who apparently seem confused at what this does, it’s supposed to monitor both your heart and your heart wave (ECG). It does not offer analysis, but if your wave is off (possibly indicating a-fib or other abnormalities) it will tell you. I’ve used similar devices, and I wish this one would power on so I could try it.

Nifty way to check heart rate, little pricey, few features
This is a nice small device to check your heart rate nothing more. I was expecting to get a lot of extra bells and whistles based on the price point but it is a simple device to check your heart rhythm and maintain a history. I would say it is fairly accurate. I have a low heart rate around 58 on average and it detected that. I tried using the moist hand feature with no cables as well as using a pad connected to the write using the cable. I got the same results. I do like that you can setup the device to be a single user or dual user. You will have to remember who is User A and who is User B as there is no way to save a name. It will maintain history for each user. I figured that once i added the App to my phone I was going to get the bells and whistles. It was worse. All I can see if the History of the reading, select one and send a PDF of the results. I gave 3 stars because of the price compared to the funcitonality provided.

    Review by a former paramedic
Okay, so I was a paramedic a lifetime ago and I still remember how to read those little squiggly lines. This thing (quite literally) took me longer to figure out how to take it out of the box then it did to do a 1 lead read.So let me take a second to explain (in laymen’s terms) what this is and what it isn’t.First of all, I am familiar with this company. They have a 12-lead halter version of this that reads your heart rhythm all day and night. Then you upload it and it gives you an exact reading. Good software, but just antiquated and clunky on the 12 lead halter. This system is light years ahead of it.I found the GUI (graphical user interface) to be exactly what you would want. It is bring, colorful enough, and easy to read and understand. Very good upgrade.I didn’t read the directions, but this unit is made to take and look at different leads by licking (okay, you an use water) and gently (gently!) placing it where it shows you in the display, and keeping your finger on the large grey button (I didn’t leave my finger the first time – so make sure you do that!)It gives you a count down and when it is done, it tells you if it is normal or abnormal. It doesn’t tell you why it is abnormal (I believe.)So, what are the leads? Well, just simply different ways to look at your heart. Most people who know a little bit, or watch TV, normally see Lead One. That’s done by placing this against your palm. Most professionals use a 3 lead (which this comes with if you choose to use the sticky pads). No, this doesn’t do 12 lead, but unless you are working in a cardiac unit or ICU. As a paramedic, I only looked at three leads. So, this unit seems to be pretty good and accurate. It read my heart rate which I confirmed myself. By looking at Lead One while testing, I agree that I had a normal rhythm.Overall, it seems like it works well. I do like that I can do a 3-lead if something came up as abnormal. This does BT connect to phone or computer so you can do that as well. I haven’t tried that yet, just wanted it for a stand-alone, but I may someday and if I do, I’ll update here.Oh – by the way – in the picture it looks large – it isn’t. Not at all. The screen is literally the same size as my AirPod Pro charger.I hope this review was helpful!
