ExOfficio Briefs Rock!
I was not certain what to expect when I first previewed this brief on Amazon. Looking at the image, the briefs appeared more like a mid-rise than a full-cut brief and the waistband appeared to hug more than I wanted to be hugged.I kept toying around with the “Should I or should I not buy a pair” when my friend David said, “C’mon Carlos, check them out. You know you want to. I can guarantee you when you do you will be sold. These briefs, in my opinion, are the Rolls Royce of men’s underwear. They are extremely comfortable, made well, fit well and look great!”I decided to follow David’s advice and ordered two pairs.I waited about a week after their arrival to try them on but let me say without hesitation that David was right on the money. ExOfficio briefs feel great, wear great, and look great. I plan to order all available colors, including white and have already been recommending them to my friends.Brief Note: I wear a large (at the moment). I ordered one size up and was glad I did.Thank you ExOfficio, Amazon, and David. I will continue to see what other new briefs I can get my hips into.

Great for hot weather
I hike about 3-6 miles most days. Some are just on a paved trail along the river while others are in the mountains. It’s very hot right now and I wear perforated nylon, knee length shorts most days. They are very comfortable but don’t have a sewn in brief which is needed. This item was purchased in a +1 size in order to not be too tight in the crotch. In combo with my shorts, are better than my running shorts with the sewn in brief. After wearing, they rinse out easily and dry quickly for the next day so I don’t have to do laundry more often than usual. I now have 3 pair and with rinsing, I can go a week and then wash these on my normal laundry day.

Most comfortable underwear I have found in YEARS of searching!
I’m a 32″ waist, and these (size small) fit perfectly. After having to switch to boxers, because I found briefs too uncomfortable, and even finding most boxers uncomfortable (I can’t handle chaffing, and it triggers jock itch, which is unbearable when you have to sit in front of a computer all day), and often resorting to going commando, once I found ExOfficio and UnderArmour, I spent some $$, and completely replaced my entire underwear drawer. My wife likes the boxer brief ExOfficio’s the most, and the Under Armour original boxers. For working-out, I either wear the ExOfficio regular briefs or 3″ (short) briefs. I’m a gymnastics coach in my spare time, and still like to bounce some trampoline, and support is critical (another lovely side effect of aging – gee, and I thought my wife had it bad!). These are pricey, but they’re worth it. One word of warning – the material is somewhat fragile – they’ll get scuffed-up if you wash and dry them with the rest of your laundry. It doesn’t affect the comfort, so I really don’t care. I’ve been wearing these for over 1 year, and not a single pair has developed any tears, but if you want them to look great, best follow the care directions.

Not perfect, but very useful for travel
I bought these briefs to take on a trip so that I would have underwear I could wash in the sink and be sure they would dry quickly. And since the trip was to a hot climate, I also hoped they would be more comfortable than heavier cotton briefs. Overall, I was satisfied with my choice. They fit well, were easy to wash and dried overnight. That allowed me to take just a few pair on the trip and helped to reduce baggage weight. So far as comfort in hot weather goes, the assessment is mixed. On the one hand, I felt like I was sweating a little more in them than in my cotton briefs, but on the other hand, once I was no longer exerting myself and so had stopped generating new sweat, it felt like they dried more quickly as well, even as I was still wearing them. I don’t think I would wear these for every day purposes and I don’t know how long they would last if I did, but they met my expectations for travel.

With two pair of these, I can cut down on my laundry bills tremendously. I highly recommend these give-n-go products.
I ordered one pair of these briefs, and one pair of their boxers, because I wanted something that I could easily wash, dry and rewear, for those times that I only wear underwear around the house (when I don’t yet have a full load of laundry to put in the washing machine).These are very comfortable, the fabric has a wonderful feel, and I plan to wash them in the shower (while I’m briefly {pun intended} wearing them) then let them dry while I wear the other pair. (NOTE: This is an in-between-full-load laundry solution.)What else can I say about underwear other than, when I need to go weeks without washing and drying laundry, I’ll use cheaper multi-pack underwear that require me to go to the laundromat once in awhile.JohnEDITED later because of comment received on 2/2/2015GREEN SOLUTION:Instead of running the washing machine on a half-load, I can wait for a full load by the stop-gap measure of washing these with soap and water while showering (using my skin to keep the material temporarily stretched), then hanging them up to dry while I finish my shower the normal way.The material is nice enough that it will dry nicely (and more quickly than the normal cotton briefs).

A must-have for hot climates, you won’t be disappointed.
I bought a few pairs a few years ago, for travel in SE Asia. I normally sweat heavily in hot, humid climates, and these are a huge improvement over anything cotton. I have since ordered several more pairs, and love them. They appear that they will last for a very long time. My 3 year-old, much worn pairs, are indistinguishable from my brand new ones. If you want to travel light in hot climates, these are perfect, easy wash, and super quick drying. You really can get by with a couple pairs, as long as you wish to travel. I have replaced all of my cotton underwear with these, and am very satisfied with the quality, and especially the comfort. Most recently, I just waited until the price dropped on Amazon, and stocked up with a multi-year supply.

They are fine. It is just that I have large thighs and the leg opening is a tad small. For the rest they are great. Lite, easy to clean and fast drying. FYI I am 37 waist, wear 34 Jeans and I bought Large.
