    great travel/hiking briefs
lightweight and great for travel. really comfortable and good quality. packs easy and much better for active vacations than cotton. quick dry too if you need to wash in the sink or shower on vacation if you are staying somewhere without laundry service.

Took a 2 week trip to India with just two exofficio boxers
Under the pressure of several exofficio-fanboy friends of mine, I took only two of these bad boys with me to India to save space in my very small backpack/suitcase. It was a gamble, I know, but I never take a gamble without a little security; that’s why I brought these two pairs of ExOfficios and a couple of pairs of my Under Armour boxer briefs. I essentially showered with them and let the soap from my body soak into it, then I did a little scrub action and hung them out to dry over the next day while I wore the second pair the following day… rinse and repeat (literally). I thought they would develop a funky smell or give me a rash in my no-no zone, but nope! They were as new as they day i unpackaged them every single time I wore them. The only day I had to resort to my under armor boxers were when it was particularly humid that day and I didn’t wrong out my exofficios as well as I could have. My friend who swears by these bad boys had stars in his eyes as I revealed my unworn pair as I unpacked. He literally asked if he could just touch this new pair of fresh exofficio boxer briefs… I know I should probably get less weird friends, but what can I say? I admire his passion! These things were silky smooth to my skin, but still very snug at the same time. It is also loose in the center for my family jewels to have room to breathe. I’ve never really had this before in a pair of boxer briefs, where it is snug and loose at the same time. Honestly, I’m a fan. I will slowly phase out my under armors and replace them with exofficios. It’s not only the best value for your money, but as a bigger dude myself with thick thighs, I really can’t put a price on the comfort these give me and lack of friction rashes I have now. I’d pay the price even if they went up.

  4. cjmuscfilm

    Perfect for traveling
Feel great and stay comfortable all day. Have even hand washed while traveling and they dry at the hotel while you’re out!

  5. Tod A. Demeter

    Comfortable
Very comfortable on skin. One negative is i found shorts to feel larger than labeled.

  6. Clocks

    Terrible
I usually like the boxers offered by Exofficio – they are the best but those are just very loose and not the usual tight look

  7. Richard K

    Underwear for traveling
Comfortable and dry reasonably fast. Passed my 8 hrs. (Overnight) drying test. Good for travel, somewhat over priced.

Been using these for 15 years for everything from backpacking to everyday wear
I originally bought some of these for outdoor activities like backpacking and skiing and they worked great for that, but then started using them just for everyday wear and they are really nice. Comfortable, completely non-cotton so they don’t absorb odors and they last a long time (more than 5 years). They are a bit more pricey than everyday boxers, but they last a really long time which makes up for it.

My hubby absolutely loves them, for the past 10 years he wears only this brand. I have to compliment on a quality as they stay in shape for a very long time. They are breathable, light, and kind of stylish. If I could give 10 stars, I would, lol.

  10. Hopkins

I’ve tried so many different kinds of underwear over the decades and this was another highly recommended brand that fails to meet expectations. My main issue is that the whole crotch is baggy, like it’s just a sack where your twig and berries can tumble around slapping into each other and sticking to your thighs. I mean maybe you enjoy that swampy crotch feeling like a genital cement mixer but not what I’d expected from a brief. This also means because there is a lot less contact with the skin there is no whicking so sweat just pools collecting in your taint and since it’s baggy you bet that pool of human effort is going to be nice an brisk when it comes in contact with your skin again. Finally the material, it’s alright but it’s not nearly as light or malleable as most other brands I’ve tried, just over all felt heavier and kinda like an old pair of sports style fruit of the loom from the early 2000.They do fit nice around my waist and thighs, it’s just the pantaloon style crotch I don’t get.My boys need a home!
