The BEST socks for cankles and thick ankles!
I’ve finally found socks that work with my big ankles! They don’t restrict my ankles and leave marks like other regular socks. It’s embarrassing to wear socks that bind my ankles and now with these I don’t have to be embarrassed! They are super soft and comfortable and not too thin. They are pretty much the perfect sock. I definitely want to get more in different colors. They look good with all of my cute shoes too!

    Soft, Light, and Don’t Pinch
I’m not diabetic, but I do have very sensitive calves with varicose veins. I suffered an ankle injury in 2017 that left me unable to exercise or even walk without assistance for many, many years. As such, if I push myself too hard (standing or walking for an hour), my ankle could swell up to two times as large as it should be. Tight socks can cause me a lot of discomfort if that happens. Sometimes, I feel like tight socks prevent my ankle from being able to swell a little and then calm down with a little rest (IE – walking for about 30 minutes at the mall and then stopping to eat). With tight socks, I don’t get the breathability and flexibility that my hurt ankle needs to recover adequately. This year is the first year I’ve been able to walk without a cane for probably 90% of the time. When I use my cane, it’s more as a preventative measure if I think I’m going to be out for a long time.I say all this to underscore how important it is for me to have comfortable, supportive footgear. It’s also important to me that my socks can be worn casually or while I’m working out without giving me blisters. So, they have to be durable, versatile, and comfortable. These are perfect!I’ve been wearing them to the gym (where I do the row machine and other leg exercises to strengthen muscles). They don’t slide down and they aren’t uncomfortable if I have some swelling. When there has been some swelling, I can get the sock off without pain, too.I live in Florida. These socks breathe well for the Florida heat. For reference, I wear these with Vans sneakers. They are the only shoes I can wear right now that don’t hurt my feet.Highly recommend these if normal socks are causing you discomfort. You won’t be disappointed. As an aside, they have yet to get lost in the wash! Maybe they’re magical!

  3. Good but not that good

    Comfortable but too weak
I but it from my mom, she said they are really comfortable and good for her feet, the only problem is they are too weak. Definitely I’m buying it again.

    Good Quality But…
Good quality — what I expect from Dr. Scholl’s — and a nice length… but a little tight.I was looking for a replacement for the cheaper 99¢ store diabetic socks I get locally but haven’t been in stock lately. Those socks were significantly looser at the top and through the calf, yet stayed up. These Dr. Scholl’s socks felt too tight on me, but maybe they’ll loosen up after some wear.Admittedly, the 99¢ store diabetic socks don’t last all that long — but at that price, who cares.

    Confortable
These socks are very comfortable. When my feet and legs swell the socks are still comfortable, not tight. Yes, they are thin. But they stretch when needed. I bought more and I’m also going to buy some for my husband.

These are not cushioned. Description wrong.
These are extremely thin socks. They are soft but offer no extra cushioning at the heel or anywhere as the description on listing says. The packaging doesn’t list anything about cushioning either. So it is a deceptive description to claim these have extra cushioning. They are also so loosely stretchy that they offer no compression. The Dr. Scholls package doesn’t say anything about compression either. AGAIN, the description that got me to purchase these was misleading. The Dr. Scholls package says “diabetic and circulating” but maybe that’s just because it claims the fabric adjusts to your temperature. I’m not sure but there is nothing cushioned about these extremely thin socks. And as for temperature, my feet just stay cold in them even with shoes on. They are just “ok” but very thin, like dress socks, and not at all cushioning in any way and there is no discernable difference in thickness at heel or anywhere else.

    Comfortable ankle socks
This is very nice material. These socks are not compression socks. I opted to not return them because they are a good fit and comfy. Nice for sleeping. The price is good. 4 pair for $6 roughly.

  8. MJ Chappy

    Comfy socks!
I buy these all the time! They’re lightweight and so comfortable to wear. Not too tight around my ankles too. I bought the black and the white set. They’re perfect for shoes that you don’t need a thick sock for. They wash really well too! Love!

Les meilleurs chaussettes, ne serre pas la cheville et ne chauffe pas les pieds.

  10. nolansky

Great socks for a diabetic ,,,not restrictive , soft , stays up on their own .Good price for excellent quality . Also a good in between size . I wear a men’s 9-10 but they are a little big on me and the size dowbpn is perfect for a woman’s size 101/2 .Wash well and retain shape .Highly recommend .

I have sensory issues, and a major one for me is uncomfortable and too tight socks. These are absolutely perfect and will be the only kind of socks I wear from now on

If you prefer socks that stretch with the car for your leg, he will like these. They are not tight, but they also don’t fall down. Had to replace so many socks because they were too tight and less than mark on your legs.

Wife loved them. Comfortable without binding tight at the calves. They deliver their claim 👍
