Great bread bag and NO plastic packaging
These bags are perfect for storing my home made bread. They are large enough to accommodate the boule breads and the bread from my silicone Lekue bread maker. They are also great as reusable gift wraps, especially if personalized.Kudos to the manufacturer: The bags come neatly folded in a sturdy paper envelope – not a single piece of plastic in sight! This is my second purchase of these bags. I can assure you that they don’t fall apart when they go through the laundry. They hold up well over time.

Perfect and versatile!
What a great product! I am delighted that these are 100% cotton and there is no plastic closing mechanism at the top. These will help me a great deal. I am well on my journey of plastic free / eco-friendly / zero waste thanks to these bags. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future, especially in the larger sizes. I am showing my hand with them to give you an idea of the scale / sizes. I purchased the small and medium to start, so I can bring them to the grocery store with me. But now that I am seeing them, I am thinking that on the one hand they may be too small for some circumstances but perfect for dust covers of items, corraling items when you travel, the small is perfect for a coin purse and wallet alternative … if you think long enough, the possibilities are endless.As for the shrinking issue … well, they are 100% cotton (which does shrink quite a bit). It is NOT a defect or flaw in the item, and should not be described as such simply because they shrunk more than anticipated. I know some immediately throw away all the cards and such often enclosed with items. Do not do that with this item! The washing / care instructions are clearly written out.I 100% recommend this item and will be budgeting for more in the future.

The LEAFICO Cotton Storage Bags with Drawstrings are NOT X-Large. The 14×17 bags are medium sized, at best. I purchased the bags for my purses. None of them fully fit. A portion of each purse peeks out of the top. I rate the quality of the bags as good. I like that they are sold in sets of 6. Since none of my purses fit I have decided to store wallets and coin purses in the bags. I will continue searching for bags that are truly XL. UPDATE 08/29/23 â LEAFICO reached out to me based on this review. Their customer care is lovely. I am adding one star just for that. Maybe their XXL version will work better for my needs.

Big bag becomes little bag
While there should be some shrinkage expected with cotton, these shrunk massively regardless of whether they were hand washed or machine washed.The bags themselves appear to be strong and nice, being easily operated with a drawstring, and can be used for many purposes, but unfortunately, they will be a lot smaller than you expect.If youâre using this for food because of health reasons, you might have concerns about the smell and your inability to wash them.If youâre using them for home-baked bread, you should note that the bread will probably continue to get hard within a few days, although these do not retain moisture.

It was larger then I anticipated but very happy non the less. I intend to use it to hold produce like potatoes and onion. It will hold the onion skin to reduce the mess and keep the produce fresher and longer. Material is breathable and I love the fact there is no labels which make them reusable for anything. This size will def hold a large bag of potatoes or onions no problem. I probably would have got away with a large size but Iâll fold the bag down for a neater look.

I’m a bit old skool where I like to buy something that can be used again and again. I also appreciate the environment and see little point using a plastic bag which will serve no purpose after 1 use.The large ones are big enough to store shoes or trainers in. The material is breathable, so no qualms about them being well ventilated. The other sizes can house your fruit & veg when shopping or for keeping things together of your choice around your home, caravan or where ever you choose.They’re high quality. Even come with a little tag to write on for quick reference if you’re using multiple same sized bags in one place.The limits to what you can use these for is hindered only by your imagination.The smallest ones are perfect for keeping fishing leads together in my bag.I highly recommend these. They’re extremely good value for money and will last an awful long time. They wash well to keep them in tip top condition.

These wash nice store nice. Tag comes off easy to take off when washing the bags. Definitely would recommend these bags. Also I ordered the xlarge sized ones and was able to hold approximately 15lbs of potatoes in one bag comfortably
