  1. SE

    Very comfortable
Relatively light weight, attractive pattern. Easily fits a wide calf. Just the right amount of compression

  2. KD Boyle

    Feel like regular socks
I love that they are mostly cotton and they are so comfortable with just the right amount of compression.

  3. CKO

Perfect travel socks, in my opinion
Update: these socks were so comfortable, even while traveling 30+ hours due to flight delays. My legs never hurt; my feet never felt cold or sweaty. Strongly recommend these socks for travelers.—I’m flying halfway around the world for a conference, and knew I ought to get compression socks for the plane. Was not thrilled with the idea of wearing hot synthetic socks for many hours, so was glad to see a cotton option. (These are 65% cotton, 15% stretch nylon, and 10% spandex–the latter has to be added to create the compression.) They feel cottony soft, and the small regular size fit me well (I wear a 7 or 7.5 shoe, normal calves.) I tried them on and they compress snugly without feeling uncomfortable in any way. Hand washed them and they were pretty much dry the next morning. The colorful stripes are fun–they basically look like normal cotton knee highs. I’d much rather pay more for one pair of great socks (vs several synthetic pairs), so I feel these are worth it.

  4. just me

My first dr.-ordered pair of compression socks
23-08-02:Even though I no longer buy these socks because of the change in sizing, I still wanted to make a comment. I’ve seen reviews talking about how expensive these are. With quite a bit of experience with compression socks now, I can tell you that these ARE NOT expensive for compression socks, especially given their very high quality. Good quality compression socks run between $20.00 and $50.00. My current compression socks, the ones that were the best replacement for Sockslane, currently cost $28 to $32 a pair. That’s all. I loved these so much while the worked for me, wanted people to realize you most definitely are getting a good deal price-wise with Sockslane.UPDATE 12-19-2021:I am now able to assess durability – for me, washing them per instructions and after every wear, they last an average of 55 wearings before losing compression. That seems a little short, as I believe the norm is replacing at three to six months. I no longer purchase the socks because the sizing changed and they no longer fit me, but loved them otherwise.UPDATE 01-16-2021:I promised I’d post about durability when I’d been wearing these long enough, so here goes – I get about 52 wearings out of these socks; compression lasts (all are still going strong on that front), but then begin to get holes in the toes. Research appears to indicate that is about average or maybe slightly below average for compression socks. The sizing has changed (Sockslane does not agree, but small to medium no longer fits me, and my photos show the newer socks to be longer and larger in circumference), which is very aggravating as these are still the only socks I’ve found doable. Soooooo, I’ve taught myself to darn in order that I may continue to wear my older Sockslane until the compression gives out. I’m still periodically ordering a pair in hopes that the sizing returns to the old version.UPDATE 05-17-2019:I guess I must like these. I’ve now ordered five times in just slightly over a month and have 15 pair. Just waiting to see how durable before giving that last star.ORIGINAL POSTI accidentally got some compression socks about 45 years ago that hurt so bad they put me in tears, so was scared when doctor said I needed compression socks. A lot (not all) of that is gone now with the SocksLane socks.PROS:- These are VERY well made, beautiful seaming at the toe that is the flattest I have ever seen and cannot be felt at all.- Unlike a few other reviews, I could feel compression along the entire length of the sock, not simply the ankle. I only wish I could not feel the compression on my poor toes when standing (no problem when sitting or walking, but if I have to stand for an extended time – hours – ouch).- the cuffing(?) at the top is extremely flat and smooth and does not cut into my calves below the knee at all when I have the sock arranged properly . . . and I have very muscular calves that are not uncommonly problematic with NON-compression socks.- Not thin/see-through as some other reviews indicated, although that would not bother me. I’d even prefer slightly thinner, but these appear very durable (will update later on wear).- And, as much as I hate to admit it, YES, they kept swelling down in my ankles/feet and calves and my legs felt overall better at end of day.CONS:- compression on toes. I have toe pain anyway, would prefer a slightly larger toe area with perhaps no compression. As I am just learning ins and outs of compression socks, not sure if that is possible. Or maybe an open-toe version, even though doc says I need closed-toe; I figure whatever makes me most comfortable is what I am likely to use most, so how about it, Sockslane? An open-toe style?- I wish the outside of the sock were the inside, the outside feels just heavenly and much more cottony than the inside. That’s pretty much it on cons. The people who said the socks were not cotton, or that they smelled, or were thin, or took forever to arrive, I think must have received socks from someplace else – i.e., not SocksLane. The Sockslane socks are supposed to be fulfilled directly by Amazon, and mine arrived the day after ordering, were not thin, did not smell, and were in very visibly marked packaging that said “SocksLane”. If they came in other packaging (like it appears in some pics), I suspect they are not “SocksLane.I bought some woolblend compression socks at the same time that arrived today and I have already tried on. There is less compression than with the SocksLane socks, they bind a little at the top, they are thinner, the toe seam is less smooth, and I some of my ankle swelling had returned in just an hour after switching from Sockslane to them. I suspect SocksLane will be the winner of the competition over the long haul.

  5. Amazon Customer

    Firm support
I’m 5’2″ and 200 lb. These cotton stocking are not really hot (considering super warm temps). They have firm comfortable support and help keep my feet and legs from swelling. Easy to care for. Hand wash and air dry. The size I bought was medium. Will buy more as needed.

  6. wildwoodflower

    Comfortable for summer
The compression of these socks is very good, seems to be accurate grade. I like that they are made with cotton, making them comfortable for summer. I like the reinforced footbed, which makes them slightly padded on the bottom. Now if they only had more summer looking colors please!

  7. Kindle Customer

Feel like regular old nylon compression socks 😢
I dislike that they feel just like regular compression socks of nylon and spandex only thicker. They do not feel like soft cotton at all. They are well made, thicker than regular compression socks, the toe seam is smooth and soft. They fit nicely. Have not decided if I will return them yet but most likely I will.

  8. Amazon Customer

    Perfect size for me
Soft cotton, snug and cute. Will use them for a flight abroad in Summer.

  9. RT

Compre varias marcas y opciones.

  12. Nis

Purchased for a flight a week after surgery. Easy to get on and off, adequate compression, so comfortable and breathable. Unusual to find cotton compression socks. Worth every penny.Only criticism I have is I weight train a lot and even though I am a size 10 UK dress size and my shoe size is UK 5.5, my calf measurement is over 16″. I therefore fell between the two sizes but chose the S-M. It was definitely the right size, it stretched easily over my calves without causing ANY discomfort and fit perfectly on my feet. I therefore think the size guide might need a little revision. Item itself is perfect.

  13. sigfryd
