It’s a great umbrella
It’s a very good umbrella, you can tell the material of manufacture is good and the rods that stretch the canvas as well. However, to be portable it is a bit cumbersome.

We have owned one blunt umbrella for more than ten years and it is still in perfect condition, after Oklahoma wind and rain events. Not too long ago I purchased my second since one of my children wants the first umbrella. Today, Ohio had a downpour and 34 MPH gusts, of course during the time I was walking from work to my car. The wind was so strong it ripped the umbrella from my hand and blew it .25 miles away, across a parking lot. I drove to pick it up, expecting at least some kind of damage from hitting the asphalt so many times; however, it is STILL in perfect condition. We are approaching 11 years of 100% perfect brand recognition. Keep it up, Blunt!

Lovely umbrella, but somewhat mislabeled.
After trashing a number of cheaper umbrellas, the blunt brand was recommended to me. Or arrived the other day and despite the fact that the productâs name mentions UV protection, I noticed that the canopy didnât have the protectant coating.The product itself is well made and seems very sturdy, however I checked the company website and it appears that they do make a UV version, itâs just that this isnât it.

Excellent i Rome in heavy rain
10 days of rain, the weatherforecast in Rome prior to our arrival. These saved us , light enough to bother bringing them along every day, easy and quickly folded when entering metro and taxi.In strong enough winds all umbrellas will flip , we just used a hand to hold onto the handle and the metal frame at the underside , then they did’nt.

Broke in 3 months, the “warranty” process is a mess
Update to my previous review: I went through the entire warranty claim process, paying $12 to send the broken umbrella to their factory in Nevada. They replaced my broken umbrella for free. The new umbrella BROKE THE FIRST TIME I USED IT.I bought this “upscale” umbrella because I live in a very windy place. It broke after only 3 months. When I tried to open it, the top popped off and the entire locking mechanism broke. 3 months of use for a $90 umbrella? I contacted the company since it has a warranty, and the warranty process is such a hassle. I have to ship this huge thing to the company in Nevada and PAY FOR IT in order for them to fix the umbrella. Massive disappointment. DO NOT BUY THIS UMBRELLA.

La caja en la que viene el paraguas refleja el compromiso de Blunt para con el cliente. Refleja la calidad superior de sus productos. En cuanto al paraguas, mi primera impresión es que es uno de muy buena calidad, los materiales se sienten robustos. Volveré a comprarme otro paraguas pero de un tamaño mayor. Aunque la serie Metro es más que suficiente para el dÃa a dÃa.

Bought it based on reviews. It does look wind-resistant and generally seems to be a product of high quality. The color is bright. It’s unbelievably easy to put the umbrella into its case.It’s a big heavy to carry on every day and takes quite too much space. The paradox is: it is big when closed but child-size when open. However, wide umbrellas don’t make sense when they turn inside out:)I give it 4 star manly because of the price and I’d like it to be just a little bit wider.
