Perfect travel pants
These pants are fantastic. I’ve been a Baleaf fan for years, and am impressed with how long their products hold up and how thoughtfully designed their pants and shorts are. For reference, I am 5’6″, size 16W bottoms. Both the xl and xxl fit me, but I personally prefer a slightly looser fit so I went with xxl. As with their other shorts and pants, the pockets are nice and deep. This style has two front pockets and one deeper zippered pocket on the right thigh. That pocket is big enough to hold my large samsung ultra in it’s case.The fabric is lightweight, but not thin enough to see dimpled skin under it. At 5’6″, the xxl comes down to almost the bottom of my heel, but not long enough to touch the floor when barefoot. I’m happy that the bottoms are straight (not flared), yet are wide enough to roll up and still have wiggle room around my plus sized calves. These pants are great for travel, since they don’t wrinkle easily, stretch nicely to move with you whilehiking, & dry quickly. They are not “noisy” pants. The zippers are the same color as the pants, so at first glance they don’t scream “hiking pants”. Because of that, you can get away with wearing them with a dressier top for dinners out, which really makes them multi-functional.

Loving these pants
Purchased these pants because I needed a 2nd pair for hiking part of Mt Everest and hiking in Costa Rica.Wanted something for warmer day time temps. The weight of the fabric is perfect.I also like the way they fit. I am a senior and the sizing worked great with my measurements.The pants promise not to slip down. They don’t! I wish the waist band though, was a bit smaller in dimension. Understand the design probably needs to be this way, however it is a approximately 2 inches high, wish it was 1inch. But that is from a non clothing designer perspective.I definitely would recommend these pants for hiking. Also, because of how they drap, I am planning on wearing them as touring pants when not hiking. They look really good.

Comfortable, lightweight, water repellent and true to size
I bought these for a recent outdoor trip. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight, and they are water repellent, although not waterproof. They run true to size. The pockets are deep enough for a Samsung 23 Ultra with no issues. There are only two slightly negative things: 1 – I am high waisted, and when these are situated on my waist, the fall a little short, just above my ankle. However, you can roll them up and wear them as shorts or capris, so that solves that issue, but leads to the second. 2 – The buttons that keep them secured when rolled up are just a tad too small for the button holes, so they don’t stay buttoned. However, that, too, is a minor issue. Overall, I am very pleased and will be buying more from this brand.

Ankle cinch band not durable
These fit nicely and water seems to roll right off. However I’ve only worn them once and already one of the ankle adjustment loops has separated so is no longer functional.

I bought these for an African safari. They are cool, convertible to capris, have pockets, are easy to wash, and dry quickly. Love them!

Water resistant – not waterproof
Feeling a little bummed – I bought these because they were described as “waterproof” – they arrived and the tag says “water resistant” – BIG difference!!! Not sure how well these are going to work on a vacation with lots of rain.ðð
