BOLD colors and glides like an Olympic figure skater.
To my surprise, luggage has come a long way in recent years since the last time I purchased a suitcase. The old pull behind roller suitcases were nice at the time, but also frustrating for me because of longer legs occasionally kicking the suitcase while pulling it. I just got the point of acceptance that nothing could be done about it.We purchased this Amazon Basics luggage set in pink for two reasons. First and most importantly, it is my wife’s favorite color. Secondly, it is easy to spot coming off the luggage carousel at the airport and doesn’t blend it with all the dark colored suitcases. Five stars for the vibrant color. The luggage itself is deceivingly lightweight, allowing more capacity without going over baggage weight limits. They look much heavier than they are. These suitcases also hold a ton of clothes and the dividers allow you to compartmentalize different items. Five stars for packing capacity. The luggage is generally sturdy. It has a hard outer shell and has held up well to several trips. Like most luggage, it will become banged up with loading and unloading, especially by the baggage handlers. It is starting to show a few cosmetic dings and scrapes but the overall appearance is still good. Four stars for durability. The wheels are where this luggage set really wins. These wheels roll easily in all directions, allowing you to roll on all four wheels and pull or push the luggage alongside or in front of you. It rolls smoothly with almost no effort. It glides across hard surfaces like an Olympic figure skater. Five stars for maneuverability. The price it also competitive on this luggage set versus a name brand. I have no regrets with this purchase and give this an overall 4.5 stars, taking a half star off for the durability issue.

Very good large check-in bag for the price; easy to maneuver and find at baggage claim
I bought this for a trip to Europe and was very satisfied with my purchase. It was the perfect size for the current regulations (as of 2019) for a large check in bag. I bought it in the vivid pink color, which I find aesthetically pleasing, and I spotted it a mile away amongst a group of black bags that had been taken off the carousel after an interminable customs process. The outer shell is hard and study, with a molded geometric pattern. There are no outside pockets. The wheels are large and doubled, which I think makes them more sturdy. I had no trouble moving the suitcase through the airports and along European cobblestone streets. There is a handle on the top and another on the side of the case, and small rubber “feet” for resting the suitcase on its side. When open, each half is equally roomy, and there is a middle flap that zips one half of the case closed; the other half has straps that lock to keep things in place. The middle flap has two zippered pockets; one of them is mesh for items that need air circulation. The case also has the standard long, thin zippered pouch in the middle for smaller items. The suitcase zips closed with two zipper pulls that snap into slots on the side of the case next to a lock that can be set with a numeric code if need be. I didn’t set a code, but I kept the zippers snapped into place. To release them, you simply push up on a release lever, and the zipper pulls pop back out of the slots. I note that some reviewers seem to have been befuddled by this zipper function but it’s really not complicated whatsoever. There’s also a third zipper that serves to expand or compress the case. I had more than enough room for all my clothes – in fact, I could have fit a lot more inside if it were not for the weight restrictions by the airlines. (The suitcase itself is very lightweight.) For the price, I highly recommend this suitcase.

    Easy for travel
It seemed small but can fit quite a bit. Wheels are super easy to move, great little suitcase.

Not much to criticize here. Great suitcase
For those who complained about the locking issue I’d like to say that my suitcases came set to 000 and popped right open as soon as I pushed the lock to the right. Second, the instructions for setting the lock now come attached to the outside of the suitcase (see attached photo) so it’s awfully hard to see what the problem could even be. Setting the lock to your own code couldn’t be easier. Simply push in the button with a pen, set the 3 digit code you want and release. Really hard to mess that up. Now, on to the suitcase itself. It’s a beautiful deep green which should make it very easy to spot on any luggage carousel. I don’t know why there aren’t more green suitcases, but there aren’t. The suitcase is beautifully finished inside and the external zippers are really sturdy. The wheels are just amazing and these suitcases move so easily you feel as if you could blow on them and they’d start rolling. This is the reason I got rid of my previous suitcases, so this is a hugely important thing for me. The telescoping handles are a sturdy metal and have two locking detents to allow for them to be partially extended if so desired. Finally they have great interior capacity and look like they will stand up to less than gentle handling by airport personnel. Highly recommended.

Muy bonita y con el tamaño ideal. Cambiarle la contraseña del candado fue muy fácil. Excelente relación calidad precio 😀

  6. Priyanka

They are very good for the price point and I loved that it is very spacious. It’s expandable too which adds brownie points. But the only drawback is that they are flimsy. If it’s not handled with care it might break easily. Would not recommend for flying. Airport staff handled mine way too roughly and one of them is damaged beyond repair.

I got it at a discount. Amazing deal. Good and sturdy. Very spacious also has a feature of adding more volume/space if required.
