3 Foldable Travel Cubes: ALPAKA’s space-saving Packing Cube Collection includes a small, medium, and large cube. Each is foldable so it fits in your luggage neatly. Pack items like bulkier clothes and shoes in the large and medium cubes, and reserve the small cube for undergarments or other belongings that require less space.
Made With Lightweight, Weatherproof Fabric: These travel packing cubes have a weatherproof fabric and mesh cover to protect your clothes, shoes, and gear while keeping them visible. The exterior fabric, 210D Ripstop Nylon, helps your belongings arrive at your destination safely.
Integrated Hand-Carry Handles: Turn these travel packing organizers into small luggage with their integrated hand-carry handles. When you’re traveling light and only need what’s in each cube, these handles make them easier to transport.
Also Comes in Green: If a black packing cube set isn’t your first choice, you’re in luck. The Package Cube Collection also comes in green. Like its counterpart, ALPAKA’s green ultralight packing cubes are made with 210D Ripstop Nylon. Another option is to get both sets for additional style points.

    Always loved Alpaka
Adding this to my Alpaka ecosystem. The colors they pick are spot on and catches the eyes of consumers. I have bought products from their Bravo Tote, to their Elements Travel Backpack to their Hub pouch.I do wish they had something for cameras and lenses.

    Quality packing cubes from Alpaka
I love Alpaka brand and these packing cubes are perfect for packing a standard 20″ suitcase. It comes with 3 sizes. I typically pack my pants, pullovers and long sleeve shirts in the large case. The medium is perfect for t-shirts and shorts and the small for underwear and socks. Everything perfectly organized and easy to handle, especially if you have to travel by plane and have to go through security. These packing cubes are really good quality and the material feels durable, but not stiff, making it easy to stuff into a suit case. I also like that the zipper cover is made of mesh so that you can see what you have packed inside and allows for airflow. Although these are not compression style, I don’t really think it’s necessary, since I have the compression style, but don’t really use them compressed. The zippers feel good and has a handle. As with all Alpaka products, the design is simple with minimal branding. The only label is on the inside.

One of Alpaka better products. Largely because it’s not innovative and very simple.
One of Alpaka’s better recent products. These packing cubes are simple and not particularly innovative but they’re well made and well executed. With the exact right amount of features no more no less. But depending on your packing needs they may be a little heavy and compared to other offerings, a 3 pack at this price point maybe a little limiting and overly expensive.I’ve reviewed a fair amount of Alpaka products over the last couple of years. In the past the products have suffered from what I call the kitchen sink problem. Being chock full of features that don’t compliment each other and actively work against each other. Additionally, Alpaka has often used high priced materials and hardware (particularly zippers) in ways they were not designed to the detriment of the usability of the product and also inflates the price point. But their last few products have actually been quite good. Because they become much more focused and simple. This three pack of packing cubes is one of them.I’m a huge fan of packing cubes. I’m an outdoor instructor and use various combinations of packing cubes, compression sacks and dry bags for better organization in the field. I have taken these cubes into the backcountry once it’s part of a hunting contract, where I was primarily working out of one place and living out of a duffel bag, and once as a personal backpacking and survival trek. Where I was working out of a single rucksack. In the field I found these packing cubes be quite handy. Though more for my duffel bag based hunting contracts then for backpacking or long term sustainment. That’s because these packing cubes and packing cubes in general are more optimized for luggage and duffel bags than they are backpacking bags. The rectangular form factor isn’t as well suited for a backpack. The fabric used on the outside of the cubes isn’t as heavy duty as some packing cubes designed for the defense market but still much heavier weight then the previous packing cubes I was using or something like a Sea to Summit ultrasil compression stuff sacks. So that’s just something to be aware of but I suspect most end users won’t have an issue with the thicker and heavier weight fabric. The top of the bag is a mesh which allows for visibility of the contents and good ventilation. I found it very handy in the field in both those roles. The zippers are quite good and I had no problems with them jamming or getting stuck on the fabric of the packing cube. I also like that it’s a double zipper which allows you to reposition the zipper to your desired location. You also have a simple grab handle which is always an appreciated quality of life feature. This is a three pack. I use the smallest size for socks and undergarments. With careful packing I can fit about 5 days worth. More if I don’t need thicker technical socks. The larger size is quite roomy and is great for cold and wet weather gear as well as some of my really bulky camo NYCO field shirts and pants. Also makes for a surprisingly comfortable pillow. The medium size is a bit of an outlier I’ve so far exclusively used it for shoes. I can easily fit my regular barefoot boots (Vivo) in them and without too much trouble also put in my camp shoes (Wildling) and a small FHF Synergy bag with a few changes of socks. The medium packing cube is also nicely sized for backpack usage so I can easily slip my spare shoes and boots into my main work pack when I hike to my work site in Muck Boots.I have found this three pack to be sufficient organization for some of my shorter duration hunting contracts. But for longer excursions or for air travel it would have been nice to have more packing cubes in a wider range of sizes. I also would like to see more brands take a note from FHF. They’re aptly named Synergy bags are designed to fit inside each other. So two small bags will fit exactly inside a medium and two mediums will fit exactly inside a large and two large will fit exactly inside an extra large. It would be great if Alpaka could apply a similar concept to more luggage style packing cubes like these.Additionally well these packing cubes are extremely well made and of good quality they are also about $11 per bag. Which isn’t terrible compared to some of the specialty outdoor defense focused packing cubes. But compared to a lot of luggage packing cubes is quite expensive. Especially for a three pack. If you don’t need the durability of the thicker material and the good quality zippers it may be worthwhile investigating cheaper options. They also don’t compress down as well as some of the thinner material competitors. I still use my other cheaper packing cubes when space and weight is of a premium accordingly.

    Durable and lightweight
I travel and go camping a lot and over the years I’ve come to learn the value of packing lightly and organized. These packing cubes from Alpaka is a nice addition to my organization and space-saving tools. The packing cubes come in 3 convenient shapes and sizes. The largest is a (almost) square shape, has a volume of 11.5L and measures 14.2″ x 12.6″ x 3.94″ deep. A smaller squareish shaped cube measures 9.45″ x 8.66″ x 4.33″ depth and is 5.8L. The smallest by volume is a 5L rectangular shaped cube that measures 12.2″ x 6.5″ x 3.94″ depth. The packing cubes are made of a durable lightweight 210D ripstop nylon that covers all but one side (which is a mesh material). These packing cubes are high quality and are built to last. The zippers are silent and run smoothly on the tracks.I can pack a long weekend’s worth of clothes plus a little extra depending on what it is. These help me stay organized and pack mindfully before my trips. I also feel that they are priced right at $45.00 at the time of this review. The only suggestion I would add to make these packing cubes even better would be to make these expandable and compressing to make them even more versatile. Overall a good buy from a quality company.
