    Wow- what a fantastic backpack!
Although school has just finished for the summer, I never stop looking for school related items all year long. I came across this “Excel” by Adidas backpack and immediately knew that my middle teenage daughter would go bonkers over this. I decided on the Tie Dye Wash Halo Mint Green/Grey backpack. What gorgeous colors they infused into this backpack. It was clearly evident that Adidas uses only the best and premium type of material, and with that I can attest they have in this case. The stitching is perfect, I did not encounter any defects in the design of this backpack. Below, I will outline some of the other features that led me to choose this for my daughter*Design: Excel 7 Backpack- Holds up to 16″ laptop-(2) side water bottle pockets- load spring shoulder straps for extreme comfort*Padded shoulder straps also have the print that matches the front.*Plenty of zippered compartments to keep her organized all day*Appearance: this is well designed and functions as it should – love the variations with patterns and colorsAll in all, I’m super pleased with this decision to get this Adidas backpack. My daughter is beyond thrilled with her new backpack for this upcoming school year. This is also good for other circumstances other than school. It can be used as an overnight bag too. Based on all of these facts and features, I do recommend this to other consumers. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. 🙂

    Excels as a Backpack
This backpack is really amazing! It has so many pockets, that also means I opened five zippers before I find what I’m looking for but that’s more a me thing. Since my toddler is older now, I’ve been using this over a diaper bag and I can fit snacks, lunch and our waters in it easy. The shoulder straps are wide and well cushioned and it claims to be spring loaded to help take some of the weight off you. I think it does help even if a little bit which makes a difference during long outings with lots of walking. The quality itself is also very good, well put together and the material quality feels very nice. Overall this is a great multifunctional backpack that can suit almost anyone’s needs.

    “Not cringe.” Translate: cool
This is the perfect size for my middle school son to use for the school year, and the color is cool. Or should I say the color is skibiddi. Or sigma. Or sweet. Or maybe that it’s not cringe. I honestly don’t know how kids today would say it🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ In any case, this has the approval of a 7th grade boy, so you can’t beat that!

Comfortable to wear with nice organizational options
I really like the olive green and orange color scheme on this backpack, which is what initially interested me in it. It’s a fairly decent backpack as well, at least for the price range it sits in. It’s spacious, with a laptop sleeve in the main compartment, dedicated sunglasses pocket on the exterior and the admin pouch with slots for pens, cables and battery pack is a nice touch. It feels reasonably durable as well and so far has held up well although I do switch backpacks quite often. The zippers are smooth and have nice cord pulls attached which I appreciate, while the webbing sewn on the exterior is great for clipping my small speaker to. The harness has a good amount of padding as well and I find it’s comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. I do wish the interior materials, like the divider and compartment linings were as high quality as the exterior materials, and the choice of all black doesn’t provide the best visibility but overall these are relatively minor nitpicks. I’ve used many backpacks that skimp on things like admin compartments and organization in general, and think the pack provides a good price to performance ratio.

Lots of space and looks great
This is a good, quality backpack with lots of room to organize your things. There are places to hold pens and pencils, a small laptop or smart pad and books. There are small compartments for things like wallets, phones, and keys. There are also side pouches for your water bottle. This backpack is well made and feels like it will last. The zippers don’t feel like they’re going to break or come off the track as some do, and the color is unique and vibrant. I think the price point is good considering this is a name brand porridge and the quality is good.

    Spacious, lightweight bag
This is a great bag that can hold a lot. It is wider than the average backpack. The main compartment is spacious, with a padded laptop pocket and padded bottom. The interior and exterior fabric is strong and water resistant. The sewing is straight and even. The water bottle pockets are extra generous, but have an elastic band around the top of the pocket, so nothing is going to fall out. There’s a small pocket on the top front, which can hold a passport or cell phone, or something thicker. There’s a zipper pocket on the front with interior non-zip pockets, and a key chain. This pocket runs almost the length of the bag. You can access everything inside it easily. In front of that, there’s another pocket, which could hold a tablet. All zippers are metal. The main compartment has dual zipper pulls that can hold a small TSA lock.

Bought for the new school year
Not sure how sturdy this one is, but we had a similar one a few years ago and it lasted well

    Great travel backpack.
I like to travel light and use a backpack instead of a standard carryon when gone for less than a week. This backpack is approximately 30 litters and provides lots of packets. The laptop compartment has minimal padding, so be careful. The shoulder straps are comfortable and have a nice feature call ‘load spring’ that is a shock absorber. I wish this backpack had a breast strap, but it does not. I considered dropping the rating one star because of the lack of breast strap, but the cost value and other features keep it at a 5 star.
