    Comfortable
I have to admit, when these arrived I kinda thought they were ugly. The shape and proportions when I pulled them out of the box made me kinda react like “oh.. ew”. I was disappointed right out of the gate.I tried them on and they seemed kinda tight around the middle and I was immediately thinking that I didn’t like them and they were going back. But I thought I might as well wear them around the house for a couple hours and see if they improve. For me, they did. After a little wearing around the house, the tightness in the middle relaxes and started to feel comfortable. The wide toe box was apparent from the start, and after some basic adjustment these shoes started to feel much better. I can say that they are really comfortable now after having worn them for several hours – this is the opposite of many shoes I have tried, which feel comfortable in the store but start wearing my feet out after an hour. These seem to work well after just a little initial break-in.Regarding the look, I still think they look funny when I am not wearing them. On my feet, with long pants, they look perfectly fine and normal. I think I am just really used to a certain proportion of the toe box to the shoe length, and these break that mold a bit. Like I said, on my feet they look fine, so I no real issues here with appearance. All in all, I am quite surprised with how much I like wearing these considering my negative initial impressions.

Check out that wide toe box!
I tried not to like these shoes, but I can’t deny it any longer. I like them a lot.I had never heard of this brand before, so I was hesitant to order, but because I have a wide foot, I was attracted to the wide toe box and thought I’d give them a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was that the uppers and sole are both thick and stiff. I thought I wouldn’t like it, but on my feet, they don’t feel as thick as they do off my feet, so I could check off this objection.Next, the bed felt very hard to my hand and while sitting down, but when I stood and walked, it was magically spongy, like walking on cork or padded linoleum, so another fear was knocked down.Last, the arch was very high, much higher than I’m used to, and there was some kind of lump right in front of the arch. Of course, it was uncomfortable at first, and I thought I would need to put different insoles in the shoes, but after hours of wearing them around the house, those concerns evaporated, and my feet actually felt so good when I pulled them out of the shoes, like they’d had a light massage in there.I should disclose that I am a woman, who normally wears a women’s 8.5W or 9W, and these shoes fit me almost perfectly.I am very, very pleased with everything about this pair of shoes, to my own surprise.

    Work well at the toes.
So far, best I’ve tried since my pain started.

    Supportive and comfortable.
Okay, these shoes are never going to win a fashion award for beauty. BUT, if you have a day of standing on concrete for hours ahead of you, they will be your go-to shoe and you will bless the day you bought them. You just sink into the squishy, supportive comfort the minute you put them on, and they quiet your barking dogs the rest of the day. They are well made of quality materials and superbly designed to alleviate foot fatigue and stave off the shooting pain of plantar fasciitis by cushioning the impact of every step you take. There are inserts included to ensure you get the proper fit. I got these for a family member with every food problem known to man, and he couldn’t wear them because of his hammer toes. So I tried them on and instantly became a fan. If you have foot issues, these will be just the ticket–except for hammer toes, because the toe box is not tall enough to clear them. Otherwise, they are awesome. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was helpful.
