Visual Deterrent
Matching keyed locks. I use them on my garages. Good visual deterrent. Not actually strong enough to stop a determined criminal. The latch is thinner than most locks. A bolt cutter would take this off quicker than using the key. But at least any thief will get charged with breaking and entering. They don’t seem to rust. As a visual deterrent for most people they work.

LOCKS work
Needed locks for two cages as we move to a condo. We each have one key for all.

Convenient Lock Set
I have a gate on either side of my home that must be locked frequently. It doesn’t make sense to have separate keys so I purchased this set with common keys. The locks are strong and sturdy and fit perfectly in the holes of the gate latch. Highly recommended.

Orange for Caution
I knew as soon as I saw these locks that they would be very insecure, and I was right. I’ve been able to open these locks without the keys using three (or four, depending on your school of thought), non-destructive methods, making them the least secure locks in my collection, and also two of my favorite. Locks only keep honest people out, but if you’re planning on actually depending on these locks? Reconsider.

Simple lock
These pad locks are as simple as they can be and thatâs no problem at all. I use them to lock all my tool boxes. They look great and seem quite durable. Only problem that I had was that sometimes when unlocking itâll unlock half way so Iâd have to shimmy it a little but it still works canât really complain since it keeping my tools locked. Also, they arenât shy with the keys so, youâll have a lot

Pad locks
I didnât think a padlock could be good or bad. These are bad padlocks. Some times they open some times they donât! I would not buy them again!

I bought these to replace some locks that had been out in the weather and could no longer be opened. Had to be cut off with a hack saw. These seem to be pretty solid and work well.As far as weather proof I don’t really think that any pad lock is. I read reviews for a lot of the rubber / vinyl coated locks and all were reported to hold the moisture in.We do not keep these out in the weather any more. Now we store them inside the trailer until we are at a show when we use them.I had a dial combination type padlock on my tool box at work for 30 years and every few years I would have to fill it with wd40 to get it working again and then I would put a bit of light oil into it for lubrication. it spent its life indoors!!My thoughts on how to keep a lock working in the weather would be to fill it with some engine oil or grease (Can be added through the hole left by the clasp when the lock is opened. Most households probably have vaseline, if you filled the lock with vaseline it would help keep it lubricated and keep the moisture out.WD40 works to get a lock that is a bit sticky to work again but it is not a very good lubricant and would not last long.

These locks are an excellent value and I would certainly recommend them.
