Update: GREAT customer service. My issue was addressed after leaving this review. They sent an entirely new bag to replace the one purchased. Thank you!After much searching, I purchased this due to the rave reviews. We wanted a soft-sided bag since they are easy to store and can accommodate more items. Unfortunately, after one trip out of the country (4 flights total), one of the back supports has already cracked and we are six days outside of the return window. I definitely had bigger expectations for the bag; it seemed pretty sturdy. It’s a shame they don’t have a better warranty than the standard 30 day Amazon policy.

Better durability than expected
I just stuffed this and took thru SeaTac, JFK, Amsterdam, and back again with several shuttles in between. So, so easy to travel with. The wheels are not the super spinny deluxe ones that you get on more costly bags but they did the job just fine. Easy to spot on the luggage carousel, nicely sized to store flat under a bed. Lots of unstructured interior room with exterior pockets galore. Great purchase for my infrequent longer travel needs.

My wife bought a pair of these bags for us and the first thing I asked her was why? We have two perfectly good, 500lb, giant 10 year old luggage bags that look like they’ve withstood a nuclear holocaust. Why did you need to go spend money on something new? With reluctance I kept my dirty, handles missing, flea infested luggage bag in the closet the last time I traveled and brought this one instead.Pros:+ It’s super light. 5-10 pounds at most.+ It has wheels and rolls. If it falls over while rolling it doesn’t break my fragile programmer wrists from the weight.+ I’m a software engineer and also a man, in that order. I’ve only worn a t-shirt and jeans since the day I saw my first computer. I can pack about 7 t-shirts and 3-4 pairs of jeans into this sucker. Let’s be realistic though, I only pack 1 pair of jeans because you can wear the same pair for 3 weeks and no one notices. Unless they get close, which they don’t, because…software engineer. My wife on the other hand can fill the bag with the thoughts of the clothes she probably won’t but maybe will think of wearing on Friday.+ It’s soft and squishy like a duffel bag. This could be a pro or a con depending on what you plan to do with it. It’s a pro if you plan on carrying this bag onto the plane and smashing it into the overhead where it fits perfectly. It’s a con if you’re coming back from San Diego and you plan on filling it with bottles of rare Pliny the Elder beer and hoping the baggage handlers will respect the 27 fragile stickers you put on it. Hint, they won’t.- There are tons of little pockets all over it to fill with your knickknacks. They’re small though, you can’t fit much in them except maybe headphones, chargers, stuff like that.- It has handles that stick together so that you can carry it like a duffel bag if you want to show off your muscles to the ladies. I prefer rolling it.Cons:- The handle could come up a little higher. I’m 5’8 not 4’9. I’d appreciate not having to bend over like I do at my desk all day while dragging this bag through the airport (I may be exaggerating a little). I’d like if it came up another 2-3 inches.- The wheels don’t rotate. If you take a corner fast the bag can tip over.- The handle doesn’t lock when you pull it all the way out. This isn’t a big deal if you always pull your bag but if you decide to turn around and push it, the handle can push in which is kind of annoying.Overall it’s a good carry-on bag. It fits into the overhead nicely and it fits a weeks worth of my clothes when I need to travel somewhere for business. Plus it’s a really good price. 4.5 stars.

Great bag for carry on and checking
This bag packs great and is a great but for the cost. When packed correctly (roll and side pack)you can get a weeks worth of clothes and 2-3 pair of shoes plus toiletries. I bought one for my husband (5’10” and stocky frame) and one for myself (5’4″ fluffy frame). I does get heavy when you pack it this full so make sure you can lift it over your head to get it in the bin when packed full. We have traveled 3 times this year with them. Out of 6 flights, 3 times the airline offered to check them, so we did. The remain 3 times they fit nicely in the overhead bin. The handle pulls out easily and the duffle pulls easily (not swivel wheels, possible and idea for future design?). I do see with time that the bag will wear on the side that hits the ground if you are dragging it–so be aware and don’t drag it. And if you expect it to stand on end pack it so heavy stuff in not on the top. Pack the heavy stuff on the side that the wheels are on the bottom next to the handle pulls, it will stand then.It has a lot of pockets so know where you put your stuff. ( I actually took a old tour book on a new trip because I forgot that the book was in on the of the front pockets, LOL).

Solid build and lightweight. I have yet to use this bag but I am planning a trip to France with a rental car. I wanted something relatively small and easy to handle for stairs or cobble stone streets. This seems like the perfect bag. The only thing I didn’t think of is that when I buy wine the exterior will not provide any protection. I might have to put the bottles in my spouse’s bag.
