Handled Japan just fine
***CAVEAT: USED A LUGGAGE COVER***Used a luggage cover but there were no dents, no cracks, the wheels rolled smoothly, it looks as good as new after being checked in and tossed around as a check-in bag. It also got bumped up stairs in Japan and rolled over those yellow bump strips. It did have a hard time with that but I think all suitcases do? My other suitcase that Iâve had forever did as well. It also survived being used an under bed storage and being slid out and in using only the side handle.I love the color and the size was perfect for bringing it empty to Japan and filling it up coming back. Itâs simple, not a lot of bells and whistles, but I donât really need much.It didnât fit the luggage coverâs handle slots really well though but thatâs not the suitcaseâs fault.

Great value
This set was really impressive. I loved the hard shell exterior and they arenât flimsy at all. The ease of movement and zero turn radius are perfect!! One thing to note is the 28â was bigger than I imagined. Itâs easy to see how tall it will be, but I didnât appreciate how much room there really was bc the hard shell form makes it very deep as well. I like to pack A LOT, and I found that the 28â was still bigger than what I really needed. The 21â was a better fit for me and I am an over-packer. I would say the 21â would be enough room for a week to a week and a half trip easily.

Good Carry-On and Durable Checked Bag
I’ve never flown before and wanted a good carry-on to avoid the checked bag process. This bag fits the Delta carry-on requirements. It also rolls nicely on all four wheels and gives me ample space to pack for an entire ten-day trip. On the way back, I ended up checking the bag and it came out without any scratches or dents from the rough cargo experience. The only flaw I noticed is the zipper. I can feel that sometimes it seems weak, and I wonder about its durability. However, the expandable feature was nice and allowed room for my bulging coats and jackets.
