Really comfortable pants for travel, warmer weather, exercise, walking, etc.
I bought several of these in different colors and sizes and really liked almost all of them. In fact, I went straight to the manufacturer and bought two more pair in colors not offered through Amazon. These pants, I think, are like 100% synthetic material. They have a nice stretch, fit well, and the various pockets are solid. If you load up too much stuff in your pockets, you can look a little funny, but a phone, car keys, and small wallet are relatively easy to stow. There is a nice zippable thigh pocket where I usually put my phone or wallet, so it blends in a bit more. The other pockets tend to give a bit more, so it’s easy to have them appear overstuffed. However, the material springs right back and I’ve worn these 2-3 days in a row for assorted activities, including traveling cost-to-coast on a flight and then sitting in meditation for two days, and they were great, fit great, and very utilitarian if you like to pack light and repurpose your wardrobe. Depending on the color and your office dress code, these could easily be worn to the office or around town. These are true to size (I’m 6’1″, 210 lbs, middle-aged athletic) and the athletic fit ones fit best, but also the regular fit are nice and give a little more room around the thighs. I usually go between a 34 and 35 waist size, and these 34s were great. The drawstring that can be moved to the outside or inside the waist band is also a cool little feature.

Great idea. This is a good investment.
They are kind of pricey, but they are the perfect travel pants. Buy these, rinse them out in the sink when you get to the hotel, and they will definitely be dry in the morning. The styling might seems to be a bit low key at first, but you can wear these like you would dress slacks with a belt and a dress shirt, or like chinos with just a t shirt and sneakers and they look appropriate in either situation.This is a good investment.

I bought these pants for hiking badlands in SD last fall. I must say I was skeptical for the price but now I am a die hard fan. The pockets are great. The breath ability is great. Packability is also great. I ended up buying three more pairs straight from 686. I will continue buying as they wear in. Iâm 5â7â 155 lbs and the 30 x 30 fit like a glove.
