Great organization idea, but…
Unfortunately, the item itself is a bit heavier and bulkier than I expected, and takes up a bit more space than I’d prefer in a carry-on. In hindsight, it makes sense, as you’d want a sturdier fabric to prevent the whole thing from collapsing in on itself. With that being said, it’s a fantastic idea and great for organizing clothing items while traveling. I love how it has a zippered compression section, buckles to compress the whole organizer, and pockets for the hooks so they’re not flopping around or catching on anything. I haven’t packed anything in it, but I did pack it in my suitcase to use on arrival, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I was able to fit into it. I used it for bras, socks, undies, shirts, and leggings and left the bulkier items out of it. I love that it has two hooks for a closet rod to prevent the whole thing from sagging or tipping. Overall, a well-made and useful travel organizer!

The Final Test –
Large is LARGE
This is pretty big. I’ve always wanted one of these ever since Solgaard came up with the concept. The stitching on this isn’t the best and leaves a lot to be desired. Additionally the little grid organizer it comes with is not very sturdy. It’s a confused approach honestly, but it’s soooo much cheaper than most similar items out there so it’s definitely worth a try, especially if you take long trips a lot or pack heavily. I definitely would say the large is for checked baggage.

Travel hack!
If you are a packing cube user, this is for you!!!! This held over 5 days worth of outfits, plus several individual tank tops and shirts. SO easy to use; hang and fill, compress, and throw in your suitcase. When you get to your destination, you simply release the compression strap and hang up. Bagsmart lived up to it’s brand quality. The material is good, strong quality with secure seams, sturdy zipper compartment, and sturdy compression strap. This is also a good size. It took up 1/4 of my regular sized, hard suitcase. Depending on how much you fill it, it may sit higher than the side of the suitcase. You will have to adjust the items you pack on the other side of the suitcase to accommodate. I didn’t have any trouble with fitting all my items in my suitcase with this packing organizer. I had this system, 2 large packing cubes, 2 small packing cubes, 1 slender packing cube, 2 toiletry bags, 2 toddler pillows, and a few other odds and ends filled in the left over spaces. I did have to use the expansion feature on my suitcase. I will definitely be using this for future trips.

Excellent traveling accessory
This hanging travel organizer is the perfect size to fit into a piece of carry-on luggage. Once packed, it will take up the majority of the main compartment. The organizer has some compression properties especially in the bottom compartment to minimize the space it takes up.It has 3 open shelves and one closed compartment with a D-shaped zipper. The door of the D-shaped zipper also has an additional small zipper pocket in the flap for containing small items so they don’t get lost.Also included with this set is a 6-compartment shoe organizer. This organizer comes with plastic boards that slide into pockets on the outside to help it hold its shape so the shoes don’t get squashed. This shoe organizer will fit into any of the open pockets or with the stays in place can stand up on the floor.The organizer has two hooks metal hooks that are used to hang it from a closet bar. There are pockets on the top to slide in the hooks when packed. It has a carrying handle on the top as well as webbed straps that wrap around the entire contents and cinch down to help compress everything.This is a great option for somebody who wants to unpack while on vacation without really having to unpack. Each shelf has a metal wire support around the top and the bottom to help keep it straight and secure.

Not quite like the picture
I actually love this BAGSMART hanging closet organizer for travel. It is a little different than in the pictures, but the video gives a good idea what it is actually like. The picture makes the part with 6 divided sections look more stiff and solid, but it is not. It has two boards that you slide into the sides, but the center still droops. The bottom of each level is also soft and droops. This is not a problem for me, but the pictures make it look different, so I was expecting something more like the pictures; but as I said, the video is accurate. Mine hanging closet organizer also looks more like a dusty rose color rather than baby pink. Again, I don’t mind, just different. Overall, I love this concept and have been wanting a bag like this for a long time. I am happy to have one and it is as nice as I had hoped!
