Compact and Featureful
This is a well-built and thoughtfully designed adapter, for sure. Beware that for the international sockets, this is only an adapter and not a transformer. It will not change the voltage so any power supply you plug into the socket must be able to handle the local voltage and frequency as input.70W is a little low considering both the size of this adapter and the number of ports it provides, but it’s certainly enough to charge 2 smaller mobile devices quickly. Having a second USB-C port over the 5W USB-A port would have been preferable. With both the built-in cable and the USB-C port, my Samsung recognizes it for super fast charging.The built-in, retractable USB-C cable is one of the standout features of this for me. If pulls out and winds up smoothly. The connector stores securely on the side magnetically.The prongs can be extended with any of the 3 sliders. Another feature of this that I haven’t seen on many international adapters is that there is a release button on the opposite side for unlocking the prongs to retract. This locks them in place better than others and ensures the prongs stay extended when inserting into stiff sockets.Also included is a zip-up carrying case sized for the adapter. The construction seems durable, much more so that the mesh or felt drawstring bags provided with many similar adapters.I would be sure to inspect yours closely. The first one I received had a cable that was frayed with exposed copper near the strain relief of the USB-C connector. The second one was fine, but this may be a weak point that becomes fatigued with use. I would also take care when storing the cable head to avoid it wearing against the case.

Even though I’ll unfortunately never be able to visit the supposed 200 countries this Amazon vendor purports it can service, I’ve found the 4 included plugs quite capable to amply support the few countries I’ve already tried and tested it in.2) Not only does this handy gadget possess so many of these proverbial “bells-and-whistles” modern-day international travel features, it also “checks all the boxes” when it boils down to the must-have accompanying accessories in order to make for consummate functionality. For example, in order to service its generous 70 watts of multipurpose, usable DC power for most electrical needs while ‘on the go’, it sports 3 USB “C” and 2 USB “A” ports for simultaneous charging of up to 5 devices concurrently and a USB “C” retractable charging cable which makes for ever so practical functionality without first ‘fumbling’ for the cable while ‘on the move’. Not surprisingly, given the proof of its practicality what with all the available user features, the retracted cable plug connector attaches via magnetic means to the product’s outer case. Similarly (convenience-wise), the adaptive plug ‘prongs’ can be extended from their respective hidden ‘perches’ by means of individual ‘slider’ mechanisms.3) IMO, this small, yet highly practical, multi-functional travel-related gadget is a ‘winner’ that’s bound to serve any traveler well for almost any mobile electrical need while “in transit.”

Great Adapter Misleading Specs
I got this Plug Adapter to use on a cruise ship. I have another adapter I like that I use while I am traveling on land, but it has a surge protector built in and its use is not allowed on a cruise ship.This adapter is about the same size as my other adapter. Considering what it does, I cannot imagine you could make it much smaller. It is also a little heavier, but once again, it does have a couple of more features. It comes with a nice fitted zip-up case.There are 3 sliders on the side that allow you to set the plug to the correct setting for your location. You cannot get it wrong because the sliders will only work one at a time. In other words, you cannot move more than one slider into position. There is a button on the side that allows you to unlock and retract the prongs.The description says there are 3 USB-C ports when, in fact, there is really 1 true actual USB-C port and 1 USB-C retractable cable to use. Now, the retractable cable is an awesome addition, and I will not use it unless I have to because I would rather wait until the cables I bring go bad and always be sure I have that backup ready if needed. I have, in fact, been on a trip where both USB-C cables I brought went bad within 2 days, so having this backup is nice. It can be extended and locked to various lengths all the way to fully out.It has a built-in 10 Amp fuse and a spare 10 Amp fuse. If you need to get extra fuses, search for âtravel adapter 10a fuse.â A few options will pop up. These are fast-blow 10mm ceramic fuses specifically made for these types of adapters. You will not typically find these around the world, so it might be a good idea to get extras now.Two things annoy me about this adapter. Well, itâs not really the adapter as much as the listed specs. First, there are 2 USB-C ports instead of 3, as stated in the description. Second, the dimensions listed are a little off. The actual dimensions are 2 x 3.4 x 2 inches, not the 2 x 2.8 x 2 inches listed.All in all, I really like this travel adapter. I do not like that the specs are a little misleading, but I cannot argue that it does its job well and is an all-in-one-piece unit, unlike some others I have used.
