Update: This is the belt I was looking for
Update Winter 2024: Had a buckle break but the folks at Itay hooked it up with a replacement. I was going to buy another one anyway⦠this belt is exactly what youâre looking for if every other belt gives you skin issues. Not having to take it off for metal detectors is a bonus. Super happy.Original review:On one hand, the leather is pretty damn decent and the metal-free buckle solves the skin irritation issue. Even the Zero Nickel belts were still causing issues. These are great.On the other hand, they havenât gotten the compound quite right for the buckle. Theyâre too brittle and the two that Iâve bought so far have both broken at the pin (term?) that goes through the hole in the belt. Both times, it snapped from every day use⦠Iâm not wearing it ridiculously tight or throwing it around by any means. Itâs just too brittle. Both lasted less than 6 months. The leather belt itself still looks brand new.At the end of the day, I havenât found a better alternative. Weâre going to try a 3rd one, cross our fingers I get more than 6 months out of it, and if not, Iâm just going start my own belt brand and start importing these things myself with a longer warranty.

Its a non metal belt
Works wonderfully as i have to walk through a metal detector several times a day. No metal parts. Seems of good quality but ive only been using it for several weeks. It has started to remember which hole i use and the belt is starting to remember its form but looks nice and i don’t see this as a problem. Ill update this review in the future if anything changes but so far so good!Be careful of the measurement. Im not sure why orif it was my fault buti have a 32 inch waist and ordered the appropriate belt size. When i got it the belt was way too small and i couldn’t even latch on the first hole so i had to return it and order the next size up. Otherwise fantastic.

Sets off the checkpoints / metal detector
I bought this belt because the description stated that you would be able to pass thru security check points / metal detectors. It sets off the alarms at my place of employment; every time!!

Terrific Leather Belt
I have purchased several of these for my son who is allergic to metals with nickel alloys. The buckles are the weak point. They used to come with an extra buckle but the last three purchases did not.

First part to go
This is an EXCELLENT belt for those of us heavier men with an allergy to Nickel. HOWEVER, plan on getting a backup belt. Because the most likely thing to fail within a year is the prong, as seen in the pic. That one lasted just under 300 days until the prong failed. Get yourself two of them at a time so you have an extra when that prong breaks.

Good belt, unique color
I’ve worn it once- Seems like the quality is good. Belt buckle is a little plasticky, but holds well and looks good.A belt in this color wasn’t easy to find, so I’m glad I found it!

Epic belt fail after 9 months
Looks great works great initially, but after 9 months the buckle failed. Never overtightened, or abused. However I do fly for work about twice a month so it’s seen some travel use. There is nothing more frustrating than being in a foreign city and having to scramble before an appointment to find a dam belt while trying to keep your trousers up. I’d rather pay extra but some essentials cannot fail during a trip. Nor do I want to pack extras.

Great concept, weak execution.
The belt itself is a great concept. The rash I would have from regular belts has ceased to exist. Here’s the problem though the materials are shoddy. 3 weeks in and the belt is already peeling at the waistline everyday belt hole. Tbh I do not see this belt lasting longer than another 2 months max. Durability is terrible for this product.

Desde nacimiento he tenido una alergia molesta de contacto directo con el metal, por lo que no podÃa usar cinturones convencionales. Este cinturón es una muy buena opción para aquellas personas con una alergia como la mÃa. Es de muy buena calidad, me queda la talla tal como debe de y lo mejor es que el plástico también es de buena calidad, aguanta de todo.

Très bon palliatif contre les allergies au nickel puisque la boucle est en plastique. Au bout de 2 semaines d’utilisation quotidienne, la boucle n’a pas encore cassée. Le plastique a l’air résistant. Mon conjoint peut maintenant porter une ceinture tous les jours alors qu’avant, il devait attendre 1 semaine entre chaque utilisation à cause de son allergie au nickel qui lui causait l’apparition de petits boutons rouges au niveau de la boucle. Le cuir de la ceinture a l’air d’assez bonne qualité aussi.
