Great value, nice monitor and picture, great resolution
This has to be one of the best values for a 4K 32″ monitor.Pros: – Great value – Nice displayh – 4K image is nice, as are lower res settings – Good selection of inputsCons: – The curved display takes some getting used to for non gaming / business use. But not really the fault of the monitor, as I chose a curved display. Just know it takes some getting used to.I don’t game, but thought the curved display would help the edges seem a bit closer, since 32″ is quite large. I have another brand 32″ flat screen, which I like, but the edges are noticeably farther away. The curve “solves” that issue, but at the cost of warping the image. Can’t say if its really better or worse, just different.Overall, I really like this display though.

    Gorgeous, well-made
Decided to upgrade from a single monitor to a dual monitor setup, and this monitor blows my old one out of the water! It’s so much brighter and colors look so much better. I don’t game much on my PC, but I do some amateur photo editing, and it’s night and day with my old monitor. I have a KVM switch, so I haven’t tried any of the hub features. The stand is great. I really like being able to adjust both the height and tilt. I highly recommend this monitor!

Nice replacement for an older 4K monitor
As a graphic artist, I’ve used LG monitors for years, ending with an LG 27UP600-W (27″ 4K) that was getting a bit long in the tooth. Disliking the LG’s base/stand (wobbled a lot and didn’t hold the monitor level horizontally) and looking for something a bit different, I decided to go to a Dell. I really appreciate the base/stand on Dell monitors (which holds their monitors level with no wobble), and I wanted a bigger, curved screen, 4K resolution, accurate colors, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Dell S3221QS checks all of these boxes. It’s 32″, curved, 4K, has nice colors and the 60Hz refresh rate. The blacks are dark and inky. Movies (like ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’) look good on it. It’s a well-built piece of hardware that feels solid.I’m perfectly aware that the colors may not be “quite” as accurate as a screen with IPS technology (this Dell is vertical alignment, or VA), but I appreciate the darker blacks. I also have not seen any major issues with ghosting and tearing with some of the gaming I’ve done on it.The only downside I’ve seen so far with this being a VA screen is with viewing angles. Colors can appear washed out if you’re looking at this monitor from any direction other than dead center. With that said, I’m rarely, if ever, not viewing this screen from anything other than directly in front of it, so this is not a huge concern. In sum, the Dell S3221QS is a heavy, well-built monitor that’s good for general office/productivity use (and some gaming) that meets all of my requirements. It’s also about the only sub-$500 monitor on the market, from any manufacturer, with a curved screen, that isn’t an ultrawide.

Good overall monitor for software developer
Overall, I’m very happy with this 32″ 4k curved monitor, and consider it the ideal size for a software developer.Pros: 1) Perfect size with a 1.25x zoom for having two windows side-by-side with enough room to see a 2-pane code diff on each. 2) Comes out of sleep much faster than Dell monitors from the early 2010’s, and provides faster automatic switching for a dual-input setup. 3) The curvature helps to bring the left and right edges a little closer without having to physically shift your head left or right. 4) The monitor doesn’t get too hot, compared to previous 4k monitors I’ve used.Cons: 1) If part of the screen is very light, and another part very dark (e.g., two browsers side-by-side, one with a white background and the other with black), then the light portions will (under some circumstances) get very washed-out (low contrast) and sometimes be a little hard to read. I see this as a somewhat critical flaw for many, but for my workflow, I keep all windows with a light background so I don’t encounter this issue in practice. 2) Pixels disappear close to the left and right edges due to viewing angle. For my workflow, it’s not enough pixels to worry about, but if there was a single-pixel wide border, this would disappear at most viewing angles. 3) I’ve had a monitor for about a month, and had a single instance so far when the monitor momentarily turned black. I’ve seen this with previous 4k monitors, and suspect that this problem is due to either cable quality. Overall, this is a low-rate for this problem, so I’m currently optimistic that it won’t become a problem.Overall, this is the best monitor I’ve ever owned. I briefly tried an ultra-wide monitor (34″ 3440×1440 with 160 Hz refresh), but returned it because the text was too pixellated (it was running with no zoom) and because it was too wide, but not tall enough. That monitor was amazing for gaming, but since I spend much more time doing software development, that doesn’t matter as much.

One, this is a BEAST of a monitor. It’s huge and honestly, I’m not complaining. Performance wise it performs well with gaming, office work & general viewing. Two, the size of it makes it look like you’re working in a theatre. There is plenty of work room for you to have 4 small windows open at the same time to better work flow for working or going to class at home.Three, graphics wise, it could be better but the picture options compensates well. Again I did buy a monster of a screen already & with the freesync I’m not complaining with the great productivity performance. Additionally the speakers does well enough. I did find that it’s a bit quieter when I’m on teams meetings during the day or generally viewing Netflix/youtube.Fourth, my gaming experience has no complaints. I didn’t find any flicker or delay. My PS4 pro is connected via HDMI 2.1 and damn, it does deliver. The wide screen ratio makes my gaming worlds so much more immersive and I’m spoiled! Yes there is a gaming version of this monitor so I might look into splurging into that as a second monitor & connect a sound bar for that theatre gaming experience.Lastly, I’m extremely pleased of this product. I have to say Dell set the bar well for an entry level monitor for your general use in home or office. As I mentioned, I’m thinking on buying another one for that double monitor action for the best workflow while working at home and the best gaming experience I’ve had so far. Finally, just get one. Yes it has quirks and such, but keep in mind this is just the beginning. Upgrade and research the next monitor for you while enjoying the spoils of what is here.Thank you Dell.

Didn’t expect this from such a expensive monitor .I purchased this product and it has lot of issues , it keeps on flickering when i connect i to my laptop .I tried to contact dell customer care and they don’t have any solution for the problem i have. When i asked for return of this product , Amazon team is not helpful in this at all , they keeps on asking me to wait for seller to reply and they cant create return request themselves .Seller is busy in his own world , and no response from them .Its been 1 week and i have been still waiting for the team to resolve me issue .

El monitor sirve muy bien para editar video y audio. Hay que familiarizarse con los menús para sacarle el mayor provecho

Perfect monitor, especially for its price. However there’s an issue with M1 macs – display starts blinking a little when there’re a lot of dark colors with minor contrasting light details (HDMI to HDMI on M1 mac mini). And with DP to USB-C it ghosts for a few seconds once in a minute or so, which is way worse.Yet it works perfectly well with Intel-based macs. I hope it will be fixed soon either by Apple or Dell.

I love this monitor. If you’re debating getting 2 monitors vs one wide one, get the wide one!Sound quality is pretty good, love the curve. It’s a nice, wide screen but it fits nicely on my desk. It’s a great size and makes working remote so much easier. I can have 5 windows open no problem. Always have teams and my email open on the side and 2 browsers open for working. Having team calls is also so much better now that I have the space to see my document and also the people in the meeting. This is essential for all work from home people. Also, the USB-C connection to my laptop is amazing, I love how it charges my laptop while broadcasting it to my monitor. My kitten also loves her new at home personal Theatre for cat videos.
